He'll be the horse I use to set the standard... and see how many are able to reach his level being "well-in".
I haven't yet, but I'll be surprised if I come up with enough to strongly feel he won't be in the places at least.

Go on then, give me your 9.
I'm currently down to No. 12 on the list - Third Wind, and haven't come across any comments regarding the other 11 above that insinuate they are definitively looking elsewhere.
I was hoping/expecting to have found a few at least with comments that they'll be going elsewhere by No.12, but the fact I haven't so far does make me nervous for Dunboyne let alone Remastered.

Did exactly the same thing OTF! So many above him won't have many other options and owners won't want to give up the chance of a Festival runner. He's definitely odds on to miss out.
I think Pricewise in the RP is doing a Cheltenham Handicappers piece and selections this week. These weekly pieces usually have quotes from trainers regarding horses and targets appropriate to the race(s) covered. I'm hoping we might get some quotes in this piece for the Pertemps and get some running plans from the connections of horses entered.
Edit - or the RP Cheltenham Festival Guide being released this week could also provide relevant information on running plansLast edited by On The Fringe; 1 March 2022, 03:16 PM.

A net 149 (taking off 7lb) has made me laugh out loud, with joy.
I think Gordon was just as happy, the GB capper dropped him 2lb for his Warwick qualifier."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".
