Yeah, his mark was already known as Gordon had entered him in Britain to obtain a mark anyway.

Was that even after his last run?

No, but I wasn't expecting him to be dropped after one bad run

                      I would have to disagree.

He's won (in a canter, I might add) off 117 where two of the market principles never travelled properly, a couple of rivals were switching back from a stint chasing and others were being beat in these sorts of handicaps all season.

Looking at the form of those that finished in behind, the 2nd was beat 20 lengths by a horse who won't be anywhere near a festival, he was also PU on his prior start over the trip too, the 3rd has been consistent enough but can't win (was one of the ones that has been chasing at the start of the season), the 4th has been out of form over fences. It's only really the 5th who has at least won a couple of races and been consistent, but he's had a 15lb rise since he started out this season and I suspect that has caught up with him in terms of his ability.

I do take in to account how easily Thanksforthehelp has won, but I don't think he should be 9/4 for a competitive enough race like the Pertemps based on what he has actually beat the other day.

That said, I do think he'll get punted in because of the colours he wears, more than anything else.

                            • For anyone wanting to get on Thanksforthehelp I noticed whilst scrolling through that hills have just pushed him out to 7/1 nrnb. 5/1 most other firms and only 6.2 on the exchange.
