Duffle Coat, Gentlemansgame and Holymacapony are the interesting ones entered in the Pertemps qualifier along with the usual ones

An indication on how much the bookies are on the ball was B365 suspending bets on the pertemps market today prior to entries for the 28th.

I haven’t been able to access the Pertemps market on 365 for best part of a week. I was wandering why?

Burning Victory entered in the Leopardstown qualifier off 143 - interesting.

Reckon this could be her best chance at the Fez.

I think Maze Runner may end up being Mullin's hope in this. Fairly lightly raced over hurdles and there should be scope in his current handicap mark. Hopefully comes in gently ridden 6th

I thought he had a good chance in the Coral Cup last year, but he didnt come over.

Good to see this entry, this season

Was going to post exactly this. Was eye catching lto in a very scrappy race and will have a perfect racing weight come the day. Run style helps a quiet qualification shall we say.

GL said he has found his pertemps horse but is waiting for entry/price before putting up him. Only Wincanton qualifiers over the weekend I believe.

Edit: Qualifier at Leopardstown on Tuesday also

I think he meant getting entered into a qualifier at any time tbh not one over Christmas as it sounds like the horse raced last weekend. Now trying to guess who it could be is either Ardhill (won at Ascot for Gordon very comfortably, only an OR of 111 in Ireland now after that run), something like The Very Man from the 2 1/2 mile hurdle at Navan on Saturday or the one I think it could be is Mr Fred Rodgers who won a rated novice on Sunday over 3m (was previously beaten in his last race by Ginto and Eric Bloodaxe)

I think it's Ardhill - he's got the entry in the qualifier on the 28th.

126 was the lowest rating last year with a max field size of 24. Would he even get in?

I saw the entry today and thought he looked low
he won off 104 in uk other day
even with a massive hike he’s going to need another decent bump to be sure.

might be worth backing in next week race thought

He got a BHA Performance Rating of 123 for the Ascot win.

Which means, on current form, the BHA would rate him 123.

In a normal year, that is around 10lb short of getting in.

Ther would be no “tax” on that rating as it’s a British rating on an Ascot race.

Yeah my first thought was Mr Fred Rodgers to be honest.

Probably will be him plus GLynch always says novices so that is a pointer, would need to be put in a UK qualifier now if going to go this route.
