Dunboyne is his number 1 I'd say but will be right on the edge of getting in or being balloted. If he gets in he will be an almighty gamble imo.

Yeah said similar myself yesterday before it got lost!

All 7 of his are 20/1 or less ....

        No fun!

Not unless like me you want the additional 4 places.

            • I really like alaphillipe for this, think he has the right profile for the race and last time out the way he 'emptied' makes me think that was somewhat of farce... not sure how the jockey has done it and if its at all possible to slow a horse down that much... but looked too suspect

Yeah, i think ive said it before on here but to me, he looked to get an easy time of it after he hit the front at the last. The way he tanked into the race was very eyecatching. I certainly think he has a few pounds in hand. First run of the season too. I think, or im hoping - that O'Brien & co learnt from The Imperial Alcazar win in that same pertemps qualifer. Blew its load then there, so to speak!!

The fact he's entered in Stayers also suggests that he's a bit better than his mark at the very least.

I actually think SDB will end up being his number 1 in his attempt to be the only horse to win it 3 times. If they have the conditional on (like Rob James) claiming I can see him being a big gamble.

Anyone seen any specials on him to train the 1-2 and/or 1-2-3 anywhere?

Has anyone heard anything about him since he was struck into last time ? How nasty was the injury?

Elliott just said in his RP tour thing that the plan was to “run them all” regards those qualified - having said that he said GC was on target for the spud race before he was scratched later that day so pinch of salt stuff for me

                        • The big galloper going for the qualifier at the weekend, obviously already qualified from the last day but will need to be winning again probably to get in and they’re clearly going for it. I find him hard to weigh up, they’ve tried hurdles, they’ve tried chasing, he’s been on the go a few years now and in that yard you’d have thought he would have done something noteable by now. But it’s hardly a yard you could write off if they had confidence in one either.

                              • What are everyone's thoughts about reading in to jockey bookings for Gordon's horses in this? Could make a case for all of Kennedy, Russell, Gainford and Fitzgerald being positive bookings with their expertise and claims respectively...
