  • Couple more novice hurdlers probably worth noting...

    Galopin Des Champs
4g Timos - Manon Des Champs
    Mrs Audrey Turley
    1-
Won over hurdles at Auteuil in May for Arnaud Chaille-Chaille. We've entered him in the Royal Bond, but whether he will be ready for that I'm not sure. We'll be aiming high with him anyway.

    Gars En Noir
4g Masked Marvel - Touche Noire
    Mrs J Donnelly
    F1-
    RPR 115h
This is a very nice new arrival. We gave him a tentative entry in the Royal Bond, but that was just in case he instantly started burning up our gallop. We'll give him a bit of time and it will probably be later in the season when you see him.

    • Mullins comments on his Novice Hurdlers doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence.

Lobos it’s barely November and you are worried that probably the best national hunt trainer isn’t being too bullish about his novice hurdlers through a media outlet.

I’d hate to be your ticker come Tuesday of Cheltenham

He is normally more bullish than this. Most of his Cheltenham horses will only have 2 runs from here on in so he'd better get a move on !

            Haha!

Right I’ll be Mullins, here’s the RP story.

”Ferny Hollow is a machine and wins the supreme. Appreciate It was unlucky in the bumper we love him will win the Ballymore. Shewearsitwell is the best mare since Annie Power and we also have a top class plodder for the Albert Bartlett.”

Take the tours with a pinch of salt, yes they can help in terms of knowing what discipline horses are going but other than that let the horses run

How many of Mullins battalion you reckon have ran that are likely to run at Cheltenham at this stage? In either discipline? You’re high or very drunk if it’s more than 5 (not including handicap efforts )

Galopin could be interesting for the Ballymore with cash out. Seems like they have a couple for the Supreme and in another tour he said staying trips for Galopin. If you watch his race replay he does his best work at the end of the race over 2m2f.

Yeah, I agree Jackie. Had him down as Ballymore minimum trip required.

I just mentioned in Kevs diary that the form is not too great so I’ll do some more digging before committing to him purely off the back of a stable tour.

Price may be gone by this time tomorrow, so hurry up with your digging

You'll end up cutting your nose off....
