Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • thoughts on Eric bloodaxe for this? got a nice writeup today from josephs stable tour and highly thought of before drf run...that seems to be explained by injury at the time so could be a lively outsider?

He's on my shortlist but for the Ballymore.

Same as Jackie, Ballymore, further or a handicap. Not sure on his any race price, but possible way to go, though likely to lose out on places if ending up down the handicap route.

          • I genuinely don't care

But I too like discussions of this nature.
It has helped me look at Appreciate It in a better light. I think I already had done, but it had gone to the back of my mind. But he ran a great race when you consider he was up with the pace the whole way. He probably paid for this.
A Very similar race in many ways to Relegate vs Carefully Selected.

Hopefully these 2 prove better, but we'll see.
Ferny Hollow should still be viewed with caution IMO due to his inconsistency/quirks.
I certainly think both have more speed in their armoury for sure. Than the other 2.

Can the bumper throw up the same level of hurdlers this year as last ?

            Extremely unlikely.

                • For those who like Eskylane, Skybet have priced up to win today and win any race at Festival at 25/1.

That is very decent. Great spot. Would have deffo taken that instead of backing specifically for Supreme.

Very eloquently put. Maybe reread your original post though...

I have and it still reads a 'trial' for him and not everyone else. You are far too sensitive JM !

                          Is it though?

You could back Eskylane today @ 4/7 (or greater if you have access to boosts, plus the added bonus of BOG should he drift). Eskylane is currently 16/1 any race (again this can be boosted) so that works out 26.69/1 doing it manually without any boosts or BOG, and it is possible if you're on the ball. Not only that you can back the any race E/W (if like me, that's your thing) in a single, as opposed to having the 25/1 win only.

25/1 is fair, because it saves the agg of having to do it all yourself individually, if you're lazy like that, but 'very decent' it is not.

Point taken. I am very lazy though. Your route is far too much work for me plus I don't bet on a daily basis. Keep it simple is my motto.

You're correct, I am indeed very sensitive to bull shit.

I thought it was fair too. The reason I posted is that I have noticed this year that bookies (at least the ones I use) have been on top of freezing particular horses when they are running, albeit I have noticed this in a particular race target rather than any race market. So my thoughts were that access to the 16/1 might not be possible if he wins well.
