Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Ballyadam is a Fame and Glory out of a Bob Back mare.. this is going nowhere near the supreme! He might start off in a tin pot 2m race but thats it! If there was one of Chev Parks to go to the Bartlett I could see this being it.

You can't say he's 'going nowhere near the supreme' at this stage.. I'd be of the view the ballymore is his most likely option, but, plenty to happen yet.

If I had to guess I'd go
      FH - suprme
      BO - Bally
      Ballyadam - bally
      AI - Albert
      Malone - skips

      • I suppose with three decent Novice Hurdlers, and CP wanting to find one for the Champion Bumper threepeater then Sir Gerhard may go on the bumper route.

When is it available to order Outlaw?

Had a quick look the other day when Paul Ferguson’s book was brought up but couldn’t see anything yet. Or is it only available to order in around 3 weeks?

This is taken from his diary........

I am continuing to work on One Jump Ahead and, just to let previous subscribers know, I will be sending out full details of the book and the Updates once I have taken it to the printers in around ten days. The plan is to publish OJA around the third week of September - I am finalising a few more interviews and will keep readers informed on here. I am particularly excited about the French horses which have been purchased by the top stables in Britain and Ireland. There could be tremendous strength in depth in this season's juvenile hurdles, if the new recruits are anything to go by.

              • Dewcup hosed up today at Punchestown and whilst he could be worth following, I’m more interested in the form boost for my boy Uhtred who dispatched of him easily in a Listed bumper last December. I’m still of the opinion Uhtred will become a Supreme contender and the price is begging to be taken if you have cash out.

Dewcup is certainly no mug although he probably beat feck all today.

                    • Ain't had read back through the 46 pages, but i've seen Ferny Hollow mentioned in some diaries for the Supreme....

Surely too much of a fruitcake for a Supreme? Could see him more of a Ballymore type getting a Yorkhill type ride myself.

Guess the issue is the ownership.

Impossible to say until we see them in the flesh over hurdles. TWAR is the only way to go with these novices imo.

Tend to agree with that at this stage.

From what weve seen looks like he needs a big field and fast pace, sounds like the Supreme will be perfect to me.

I've already backed Ferny for the supreme and agree the race should suit. However there had to be a decent chance all his runs before then won't suit. He'll be running in small fields at slower than championship pace so there has to be a chance he'll be beaten in the run up to Cheltenham and his price will drift out.

                              • Out of all the novices at CP he looks more of a supreme horse
