Appreciate It is a big price for Albert Bartlett at 20/1. This is where I think he will go, willie said he will gallop forever. Then onto rsa 2022.

Considering everyone was looking at fly smart for the supreme this year would anyone be looking to back him for the 21 supreme? Ive had a little each way but my biggest play at the suspreme has been flinteur sacre so far @ 20/1 and ballyadam at 33/1 but i dont see ballyadam going supreme

            Fly Smart
            Feu Du Bresil
            Figaroc

I think are all of Ricci's. Take your pick ATM though. I had written a little about them on my diary. But ultimately Scooby is the form man when it comes to these French purchases, IMO, although I will produce my own opinion of course.

I've been backing Fly Smart and Feu Du Bresil both 'any race' as safest option (although without cash out maybe it isn't).

I don't want to draw conclusions to previous horses about my theory too much, but when he (Ricci) has purchased multiple potentially decent novice hurdlers I usually expect one to turn out strong. Vautour/Faugheen (although from a PTP), Douvan and the ill-fated Allez Collombieres, Champagne Fever/Pont Alexandre (who subsequently failed to win but placed in the Ballymore), just three examples.

I don't know about recent years purchases, Min, think he was purchased alone and don't remember hype of another horse to be paired up with as previous, the likes of Annamix, from memory that one was the only one talked about as a potential Supreme horse, no other for comparisons etc...

It's just a small theory, that if RR has two or three that are high up on the radar, as they all were last season, that he usually means business. It's a crap, very loose theory, until hopefully proven this season

Supreme- FERNY HOLLOW 14/1. This is a serious horse when it all clicks. Bumper rating is top notch. Good high cruising speed, deadly acceleration and stays-well- perfect for a supreme. He’s Ground versatile and trained by the right man. Only concerns are he can be a bit of fruit loop and race keenly, but I’m sure Mullins will have a pace maker for him. Also could meet some trouble with hold up tactics.

Ballymore- BOB OLINGER 33/1. Visually looked great in his bumper and P2P. Well breed and with one of the best and most underrated trainer. Problem if this horse is guessing his target.
Not sure where Bob Ollinger will end up but I'm with you on Ferny Hollow. Clearly Appreciate It was the Mullins number 1 horse in the Bumper and he was backed as if defeat was out of the question but Ferny blew him away up the run in and made him look slow. Not many horses come from that far back in a truly run race travelling as well as he did and win going away after meeting traffic on the way. I think it was a very good renewal of the Bumper and we could see a fair few winners come out of it. Ferny looks a proper Mullins Supreme horse to me and that's where I think he'll end up . That said, I got on early in the TWAR market so have him covered should he step up in trip.

Not had a good look at the Ballymore until tonight. As I've said before I've been sticking to TWAR for the Novices but one that stands out at the odds for me is Captain Kangaroo at 40/1. He won one of the last Bumper races before shutdown and was relatively unfancied for a Mullins horse . Jockey bookings would also suggest he was not expected to win as Patrick rode the more fancied second. That said he travelled well throughout and stayed on really well to win going away at the post. The race had some depth to it also as some of the beaten horses were well thought of. You would expect the Ballymore to suit this one or possibly the Albert as staying looks his game. He does look to have some class about him as well so 40/1 Ballymore or Albert seems very generous to me for an unexposed Mullins Novice. If you like TWAR like me he is 25/1.

Does anyone know who is currently training Soft Light? He’s appeared in the top 3 of the Supreme betting but still registered with JC Rouget. I’m guessing he at one of the big 3 yards now??

I guess someone has had this one requested. 20/1 though, bit tight.

I'd be looking for him over further, Ballymore or even the Bartlett, given the way he's run on the flat over middle/staying distances.

Unsure who he has gone to though.

....33-1 with Hills, it’s actually a Sky RaB but incorrectly included in the NH RaB list @ 40-1. I think Archie is involved in the horse.
