Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Well the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 10th, 13th, 14th and 22nd have all come out and won so far, so i would say it may be decent
    That is amazing isn't it.

Have you even looked yourself dr?! As that seems an odd comment to me as Ive seen horse after horse come out of FH's bumpers and win races. From his first 3 bumper runs prior to Cheltenham, a total of 20 no less! And mom has already highlighted those from the Champion Bumper after that.

So 28 races won by horses he's beaten in 4 Bumper runs.... That certainly wouldnt be putting me off!

Wouldn’t that be kind of standard for the champion bumper ?
Any 22+ runner race is likely to produce multiple winners but I’d expect this even more with a race like the champion bumper.
Or am I being unfair ?

Now that is utterly ridiculous. I do need to top up on Ferney. When are we likely to see him ?

No that's fair, especially when most run in a maiden/novice hurdle first up where they have a clear ability edge over the majority if not all of the rivals they face 9 times out of 10. Obvs taking a view early can prove fruitful over the season but in reality it's only fair to judge it well down the line.

              • Eskylane entered over 2m again at Navan on Sunday and surprisingly, so is Ballyadam.

Interesting. Could mean they do think Eskylane is a 2 miler after all.

                  • Or the more likely that they'll plug on with him over the minimum for a mark and then lo and behold when he's stepped up in trip first time out in a valuable handicap...

Would be my most likely scenario too, tbh.

                        I'd agree with that more than I'd agree he's a 2 miler

They may think that but I still can't bring myself to entertain him over that trip. He'll either have to step up in trip if he gets beat up in grade over 2 miles, or they're plotting something..

Can't see the plot scenario myself as they wanted to win lto and entering him in that type of race at the weekend against good sorts is not going to help his handicap.

Distance and the manner of victory is usually taken into account, collateral form also.

Just on a note, whilst talking about Eskylane, the horse he beat on hurdles debut failed to follow up, albeit by a nose, but the horse that beat him is hardly one any of us on here would be excited about for a Supreme. In fact he was beat by Uhtred & then hammered by Forged In Fire on his two bumper runs, then finished behind Entoucas, Jon Snow & Politesse on his three hurdle runs before winning that today. They did finish well clear of the rest though.

It is if he gets fucking hammered by them.
