Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Strange mistake to make on two markets. Just the way they roll isn’t it, they get hold of some info and act accordingly. I don’t buy this whole balancing the books argument when they push out way beyond industry best price, seems an odd way of running a book

I see that from PP/BFSB my first instinct is run for the hills

        • I didn’t watch today’s race, I just saw the result then and originally thought MR got beat by 35 lengths so thought the reactions were justified but to lose by a head is not the end of the road for MR being a festival championship contender?? He’s been out of action for a long time and doesn’t have that much racing experience for his age. I’m happy to keep him on side for now and certainly won’t be cashing out on him. I’ll gladly take some 33’s on Ballyadam too if they’re on offer.....yummy yummy

          • trying to make out he's Supreme bound maybe?

Still have the Ferny Hollow/Ballyadam conundrum then if both are top of the tree

It seems very strange and surely a mistake. Why have they not shortened him for the Supreme if so certain that’s the target?

Had both he and Ferny been with Gordon I’d probably believe targets but who will make the decisions if both Gordon and Willie see them as Supreme horses? Would Chevely run both or overrule trainer to place one elsewhere?

Hadn’t backed him but would be cashing out all day after that performance

                • Haven't seen the race. By the sound of it my MR Churdle bet might be down...lol ! Silver lining is my N'Golo TWAR bet maybe a goer. Any thoughts where he could go ??

                      Injury maybe?

                      • A hint of an injury? Champion Bumper or straight over fences? You'd think they've got wind of something to push him out so significantly for all three novice hurdles.

                        • I just watched the Malone Race on Bet 365. He jumping was bad wasn’t it....it was like he wasn’t seeing them the way he would lunge so late. I’ll keep the faith for now in the hope it’s just racing inexperience but it was worse than I first thought

They haven't pushed for the Supreme though. Do they think based on Malones performance the Supreme is now the likely target, given also Jamie Codd suggested he was a horse for that race.

Either that or know of some set back , but would be a big coincidence to push at the same minutes after Malone Road race and not in the Supreme market. Too big I think so don't think its that.

Reckon all it is is reaction to Malones race with the timing of doing so and nothing to be worried about!

The winners of this race generally go to the 2M Grade 3 at Tipperary at the start of October, and then if they do well there, they go on to the Grade 1 Royal Bond in early December.

That’s the journey travelled over the last four years.
