Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

        Malone Road.

The hugely talented but fragile Malone Road is faring well after extending his unbeaten career record on hurdles debut at Kilbeggan.

Clearly he is fragile. Another reason why he should strike if iron is hot. This could be his last Festival......if he makes it.

If it is, would they not be pleased that he was a festival winner.... why does he have to win a Champion Hurdle?

            It just makes no sense.

He needs to win a Champion Hurdle because I am the only person in the country who has backed him for it. It'll make a great story in the Racing Post. Me stood next to him in winners enclosure holding up my winning betting slip. I can picture it now....

The most pleasing element of this message is your reference to the full title of the race, I’ve had sleepless nights thinking you would abbreviate anything possible and we’d have murdles, burdles and surdles all over the forum...

                • With the soft ground quote wonder if it would make the Supreme more likely coz of watered ground, I wouldnt touch him for anything personally with his record but Im not saying he doesnt look talented.

                  • I see no reason for him to be campaigned for the champion hurdle whatsoever.

The truth is they won’t even find out if he’s good enough imo as he’ll be kept to novice hurdles prior to the festival.

Doubt they would chuck him into an open grade 1 after ‘potentially’ smashing up some novices. They didn’t with EA after some of the Twitter chat got going and it would be unlikely with a fragile horse they would do such a thing.

If he gets to the festival and wins one of the novice hurdles good on him, means the likelihood he could come back the following year for a crack at the big one as an 8 year old.

Envoi was different, he's all chaser. Can't see MR going chasing now after his injury. His Mecca will be the Churdle. 2 more novice races then step him up and see where he sits. 7 year old next year, take your chance boy !

Yes. I do like Ocean Wind -he would be a good shout for the Dark horse's thread as isn't trained by a sexy trainer.
