Hurdling has always been the plan for this horse. He's been schooling over hurdles since he was 2 years old.

    • Thing is with micro manage tomorrow is hes 8/13 to win and 20s for supreme. Going by who he’s trained by if he wins impressive Tomo or the way the supreme is so open he propably wouldn’t have to win that impressive he’s going I’d say 10/1 or 12s. I’m new to this forum but reading through I’ve noticed a lot of ppl like to play the cash out option, so Is there any harm in putting say a point or a half on him for supreme and if he wins you can either cash ya point out and you have a free bet on the horse or even let him run.
And saying he’s a failed flat horse going over hurdles I can see that argument but the second fav in the market has only had 1 run in its life this boy 5 over 3 years so he might be too streetwise for the novices this year with the Covid holding many of them up and not getting runs in earlier in the year.

        • I have some question marks over Micro Manage for the Supreme, however, not enough that stopped me using free bets on him. Wouldn't part with cash at this stage though.

Will look forward to seeing him run tomorrow, before deciding whether to back further or not.

          • Whether he’d any good or not is one thing.
but assuming trips based on his flat career is a bit basic as his breeding is fairly flexible and his mum BC and dad were both milers to 10f merchants.
and you could argue he didn’t stay that well in his last 2 starts over his furthest trips

Personally I think he’d have to fail miserably for his Supreme price to grow after tomorrow, I don’t think there’s much of a downside to taking the 20/1, the danger is someone talks up a Ballymore/Potato bid after the race.
You boys with cash out should be OK, if I had it I’d play bigger than I have and hover over the button during post race interviews...

Can't see his price getting bigger either, I'm just not convinced by him over 2m, cash out or not I'd just prefer to use free bets rather than cash at this stage

                  • As a lighty raced 4yo I wouldn’t be too concerned about 2 miles over hurdles for Micro Manage. He’s with the right trainer as well. To be honest unless a horse is too keen, the choice between stable horses for the Supreme and Ballymore is no more than the need to split them up and what else is turning up.

A staying novice hurdler could go for the Spud or the Ballymore though, but is unlikely to win the latter, but might stay on into a pace if it’s not a deep race. The Spud is usually a young forward staying type, or something with loads of experience.

At this stage I’d be okay with Micro Manage for the Supreme, but he’d be fine for the Ballymore too. Appreciate It over two miles with Ngolo in the race feels like Willie messing with Gordon, and possibly trying to give Ballyadam a tough race.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

                      • I think Kev posted some analysis that if a Mullins horse wins this race he sends them to the Supreme. As MM is below EVS they clearly fancy him to do the job tomorrow.

If I told you you could have a Mullins supreme runner at around double its SP would you take it? I would. I will.

Appreciate It - I prefer him over 2.5 at the fest and a win tomorrow doesn't change that. I'm sticking to my guns.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

                        • Surprises me the amount of people jumping on the Appreciate it Supreme bandwagon because he was declared 'Incase he wins' ; surely you either fancy him or not as a 2 miler or one which needs further??

Backing him for the Ballymore but yet backing him to win the Future Champions and Supreme makes no sense to me, make an opinion and trust it.

No point just trying to grab a price which you can shout about in March

What if you think it would win both races if it ran ?

                            • For anyone who previously backed the mystery horse for the Supreme with PP, wants to cash out but hasn’t been able to - cash out is back available for me this morning. Assume that means it’ll be the same for everyone? Anyway, just thought that might be of help to someone if they hadn’t checked their PP account yet today.

It makes no sense to you that a horse might be good enough to win over 2 distances in the same season?

Somebody been drinking into the early hours?

I've said numerous times I've backed him for the Ballymore, yet feel he'd be at the business end of the Supreme or Albert Bartlett too..... my opinion is that he's really good..... I trust that

....and I backed him any race at 10/1... in case he doesn't end up in the Ballymore. Maybe you weren't talking about me
