I'll give you just one example of that this weekend. Cask Mate will run in the Royal Bond at the weekend. He's second favourite and will run like a second favourite. He currently has a mark that with UK handicapper tax would probably have him going close in the Coral Cup or the Martin Pipe, but irrespective of his race tomorrow, long before that Noel Meade will blow his mark in another egg and spoon novice hurdle, and the horse will end up in no mans land. Because of time off he's 7 rising 8 next Festival and he'll have nowhere to go.
I hope I'm proven wrong, but I won't be.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

Who else finds it surprising that GE is indicating that Ballyadam will be aimed at the Supreme? Will Chevely Park really want Ferny Hollow and Ballyadam to be taking each other on in the Supreme or does this mean that FH is Ballymore bound? Finding it difficult to make sense of this post race comment currently.

Youd imagine Willie would want to split him up from Appreciate It. It's all a little confusing at the moment but I just have a feeling he sees Ferny as more of a staying type
