Hello Fat Jockeys,

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Looking back at Mark Howards update - and of course didn't back!

he passed on news of another highly promising youngster, namely MY DROGO. A five year old by Milan, he was sent off 50/1 on his racecourse debut in a hotly contested bumper at Cheltenham’s showcase meeting last month. Making good headway coming down the hill, the Richard Kelvin-Hughes owned gelding stormed home to finish a length and three quarters second behind the highly regarded I Am Maximus. Dan described the once raced gelding as ‘exceptional’ and the plan is for him to make his debut over hurdles at Newbury’s winter Festival (27th November). There is a two miles maiden hurdle, which the stable introduced French recruit Captain Forez to finish third in 2016.

    • Far to keen but also jumped like he’d barely been schooled. No chance of rocking up in the Supreme

Not going to make Skektons 8/1 are they after beating him.
Would of gone shorter than Ferny if winning which on what we had seen to date was crazy.

        • That was obviously dreadful from very start onwards

However, worth noting he started in similar fashion over bumpers and probably needs much stronger pace, which clearly would get if he made it to Cheltenham

Hendo thinks this is his best one, or least has talked it up (know he can be bit optimistic but stil)

Still prefer the Irish CP horses, but my point is not to totally write off Flinteur yet

          • Flinteur already looked a chaser, so whilst he'll be absolutely no good for a Supreme he is worth bearing in mind for next season over fences, big horse him. Which is probably fairly obvious given Sprinter made a better chaser than hurdler.

              • Well that was as bad as it gets! Pulled to hard! Couldn’t jump and hung badly on the run in! Another ante post slip up in dust hahaha!

                • Been out washing the car. Came in and looked straight at this . No need to look at the result! Clearly he was shit. Silver Lining though is hopefully the Ballyadam and Ferney bets now look that much better for everyone.

                  • Oh my goodness, where to start.

I would like to apologise, to absolutely NOBODY about crabbing Flinteur Sacre bets.

It was even worse than I hoped it would be given Henderson's record in the race.

Looks like we can't take Henderson at his word when he talks one up, who could have predicted that

Kudos to whoever looked into that roll of honour as well, it stopped me getting carried away with him as an ante post selection.

P.s. I'm only teasing, I would expect the same amount of ribbing when I get something so drastically wrong

Same here Crowley, that’s why I’m annoyed, I had the same update and ignored it this morning when My Drogo stood out for me!!

The winner is priced 33/1 post race, anyone who tried to argue pre race about the antepost price on FS doesn't have a leg to stand on.

                        • Awful wasn’t it... thank god for cash out

Probably more chance of Dusart sticking to 2 miles now... if there was any doubt?

                          • Crossed FS off my list. The thing to remember is, unless we get a DH (Has there ever been one at the Fez?) We will only have one winner of the Supreme and every other race. That's the beauty of throwing plenty of darts at the races. You'll always have plenty that miss the board completely but it doesn't matter if one hits the bullseye !

                            • Real stone is a big price at 12-1 today.
I thought his win at aintree was decent.

Yes that was the only negative for me from that!
