Hello Fat Jockeys,

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • What is it with folk and Ferny ah he's not been keen today, he hasn't been since he's wore that hood!
helped massively calm him to the point he needs no headgear

    • Thoughts on Galopin Des Champs there folks?

      • The way Gallopin pinged the third last I thought it was a question of how far.

Ground and/or fitness may have found him out and he is certainly worth a second chance.

Jumped his hurdles too high at times and cost him at the last
Ok performance, but not one I want as an antepost bet after that.

          • Bob and Ferny finishing 45 lengths to the rest of the field looks great on paper. I couldn’t watch the race, no reception in the toilets so just saw the result. Did they both hurdle well?? Are they as good as we (I) hoped they would be??

            • Not ideal getting turned over at odds on but he did give the winner half a stone and might have won if not for an awkward jump at the last flight. Was battling from a long way out & fought them all off before the winner pounced late. Jumped well enough other than the last, looked really nice & slick over a few. Hoped for better, but not worth giving up on either for me.

              • Not backed GDC but for those that have, Mullins already said his horses are way behind schedule so judge them on second runs.

I’d say BO was abit careful over some of his hurdles but they both look like well oiled machines to me for sure!

Ok I suppose, would expect improvement of course. Better
jump at the last and he probably wins that. Was giving the winner 7lbs as well.

See how he fairs next time out.

tough to say after one run but I’d like to see him over further (talking from my pocket of course)

                      • 50/1 for Supreme and Ballymore now again
Didn't look one for the supreme though, as Mullins alluded to looked a bit of a stayer.

                        • Haven’t backed Ferny in a single as he’s never been a price I want this far out on a novice hurdler. However if I had then I’d be very pleased with that and he’s now a worthy Supreme favourite.

I’ve just backed Bob Olinger at 20s for the Ballymore as I think in all likelihood they are 2 very good horses.

                          • Galopin Des Champs is one that I wouldn’t be rushing to back if I hadn’t already, but I similarly would not be rushing to cash out. Deserves another chance, probably over a longer trip.

                              My thoughts exactly CCM.

                              • Dissapointing from Gypsy De Choisel.

Being overly critical of horses first time out of hurdles makes a mug of us all but I don't think we saw a festival winner in him.

Winner looks a very promising sort though.
