Latest Exh
You’re not going to run over two miles and then you’ve Envoi Allen (in the Marsh) so you’ve two machines. Envoi Allen could win a Queen Mother if he wanted to and yer man (Monkfish) could win a Gold Cup if he wanted to, that’s my opinion.
“The possible chance that we might have to win a race at Cheltenham you’d think would be the four-miler but if Venetia Williams’ horse (Royale Pagaille) goes for that, he’s (rated) 160-something, will he go for the Gold Cup or will he not? So what’s the point in going for the four-miler?
“You have to be sensible about it and look at the bigger picture and see what we’ll do. You have to keep your options open, God knows what will happen, something could happen my lad, something could happen any of these horses any days of their lives.”
Nolan had to fight hard to keep Latest Exhibition in his yard and he will do best by the eight-year-old with a change of tack possibly needed to hit the winner’s enclosure again soon.
“We’ll make a decision in the next couple of weeks, we’ll just have to think about Cheltenham or not,” Nolan adds. “When you finish second you’re disappointed, especially when you’ve one win and three seconds this year already. I’d prefer to win. I’d prefer to win at Fairyhouse than to be second at Cheltenham again, that’s it.
“The Ryanair Gold Cup (at Fairyhouse) is absolutely an option. The horses that go to Cheltenham probably won’t go to Fairyhouse so we’ll have to keep all our options open.”

Not worth risking 4 pts over is it, or is it.... they're hardly going to suspend based on that?

The race looks like cutting up:
Galvin - on target
Royal Pagaille - GC
Latest Exhibition - possibly but I'd say probably
Next Destination - Festival chase
Dickie Diver - not qualified yet
Coko beach - maybe
Eklat De Rire - festival chase
Secret Reprieve - Aintree
Escaria Ten - sounds likely
ITCF - ??
Asterion Forlonge - not qualified
Pencilfuloflead - another GE runner?
Lord Royal - probable
I've highlighted 6 that I think will run but there are doubts about most of them.
Lord Royal won't be 33/1 if this cuts up as much as it looks like doing.
