    Nice to read.

Backs up what I know most people are expecting.

It certainly doesn't mean he should be cut in the market, but the 'guesswork' about the target looks to be over.

Yeah the quote is from this interview, looks like was released a week or so ago so hopefully the price has held !

          Was that on the day?

          • Shishkin was 10/1 for the Arkle, with Sky after his Supreme win, cut to 8/1 the same day, then 6/1 by the following day.

He was 7/1 with WH on Supreme day cut to 6/1 two days later.

BetVictor opened 7/1 on Day 4 of Festival, cut to 6/1 the same day.

            6/1 or less ever since.

No, I went into Oddschecker and pressed Shishkins name in the Arkle betting. then "All History" and it goes through every market move of every bookmaker.

                  • I checked a few other horses in the Cheltenham markets, and Oddschecker generally captures the market from the beginning, although it didnt have my GOSHEN 40/1 and 33/1 prices with Bet 365 on Gold Cup day for the Champion Hurdle 2021. Maybe thats because it wasnt on Oddschecker - just Bet365s website.

I remember standing in a box watching the RSA many years ago with a punter/friend who was phoning bookmakers for a Gold Cup price before Denman had gone over the line, he got fortunes on at 8/1.
If you are a good judge and trust what you have just seen then it makes sense to take whatever price is offered because by the time everyone else has stopped screaming and picked up their winnings the price will have collapsed...

That's the thing about racing, it's always a case of what's next and always looking ahead.

Your friend wasn't Harry F, was he?

If the markets have been up for months, the history can be very long, so need a super whizzy scrolling finger to get down to the opening shows.
