Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

  • In response to the QMCC talk - did we see that Tom Segal tipped up Chosen Mate as one of his Ante-post picks.

I saw that one of the owners said on the Racing Post YouTube page that this was the goal for him this season.

Anyone got him in their book and think he can make the step up in grade?

Yes there is that scenario as well, I actually think DDS should go to the Ryanair, I did this year as well. but again its just an opinion

        I might have mentioned him 10 or 20 times but that's about it..........lol ! Backed him at 33's and 25's 1pt each.

Racing TV pundits horse to follow for the season - interesting that Ruby nominates Klassical Dream.
He does chat some shit though

To pick one horse in September to follow for a whole season can be divided up in different ways. Pick a guaranteed superstar such Al Boum Photo, for instance, or a top novice hurdler going chasing, such as Envoi Allen.
Or try and find the one people really want, like the horse who starts with a handicap romp and ends up a Grade One winner by the spring, progressing all the way from underdog to champion. Klassical Dream could be that one.

          • Strange comment by Rupert. Does that mean KD is staying over hurdles?

More likely he doesn't know or refuses to give anything away.

Klassical Dream wouldn't be starting in any handicap, even if he did stay over hurdles?

The year Yorkhill went for the Champion Hurdle, Ruby put him up as his Gold Cup tip on RTV, I kept the page for a while to remind me that he isn't on 'our' side.

I doubt he is even with the career change.

Thats how I read it at first as well although I'm not so sure now. Never know with him !

                • Ruby is a gangster! Might throw us the odd one, but mainly on the bookies side!

                  • The Ruby Klassical Dream quote is one of the most ridiculous comments i've read
You could go round in circles trying to dissect something from that.

I'll happily listen to Ruby talk through races and tactics. His RTV piece walking the course last festival was brilliant.
Other than that I find it best to swerve his 'picks'

...no idea why they have him selecting ante-post when Gary Nutting has some success for them.

WTF are all of them about.

Master Dino is no guarantee to even come over from France, in fact, I'd say less likely to now than when he was going to run in the Marsh, unless something has been said?

I swear connections of Ocean Wind have already said he won't be going over hurdles too?

Thyme Hill, IMO, is the only one there that I feel is a bet, though I'm sure some are sweet on Your Darling as well.

Yes, connections have said OW will stay on flat. AW Championship at Lingfield the target.
