This will probably get more reads here so...
Anyone considering a bet on Robin De Carlow? I'm afraid that she's had a setback and will not be winning the Galway Plate. With a bit of luck she'll be back in the New Year so not yet ready for the 'Missing the Festival' thread. Whether or not the track and fences suit her would be another matter.

Not sure if anyone else saw Harry Cobden yesterday but he put up Bravemansgame as the horse he was most looking forward to this season, apparently has been schooling well over hurdles, was soundly beaten by Israel champ in an Ascot bumper although that horse is thought highly of in the pipe stable, Bravemansgame was clearly not one for bumpers and will seemingly progress for jumping, he also rated Master TommyTucker as a horse to bounce back this season after his jumping let him down the last, says he has a serious engine under the bonnet..!!

In my opinion 33/1 is way too short on it happening, my advice would be to try and get him added to Betfair Exchange and I would be amazed if you can't get well into triple figures for him... which obviously makes a lot more sense as a betting angle if you like him

Did anyone else notice the Nigel Hawke trained Repitito in the last race at Chepstow this evening? He went off at a big price of 9/2. I couldn’t believe it when I saw him last on the race card but couldn’t get any money on before the off but got a bit on mid race. His last race was in the Triumph at the Festival where he was expected to run well and then he’s running in a Class 5, 2 mile flat race at Chepstow next time out. He won and I’m still annoyed I missed the price. I think we’ll see scenarios like this quite often over the summer while trainers and owners try to get some racing fitness & experience in their horses.
Another Triumph horse runs tomorrow in the 1.30pm at Tipperary. Recent Revelations of Gordon Elliot, currently 2/1. This is a hurdle race though but he should have a very good chance. I think I’ll put him in a roll over double with Abracadabras.

I saw that race, he was absolutely steamed into before the off and very annoyingly I had Gold Arch who finished 2nd as the last leg of a nice paying Trixie, as soon as I saw the price collapse on it I knew I should have covered myself, still had small profit from the first 2 selections though.
