Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

I think it's just for AQPS horses.

      • Cheers mate, very nicely done there too. The Elliott horse he beat in his bumper is well thought of too. Is there an actual site to watch back other PTP's? Would be a very good tool to have.

        • Throwing 33s Bob Olinger for the Ballymore into a few multiples also gives them a tidy boost.

Similar to Rayapour another interesting one, they seem to have kept back a lot of the Juveniles last year.
Yeah I remember the schooling quotes from last year.

Given the uncertainty at the minute I’m hoping they abandon the flat campaign, although November is some time away.

Just need to wait and see.

            • Another big fan of Bob for Ballymore think it could go very very close. Take the 33s plus the few extra points with the William hill boost while it lasts

Three people on the same page without a profile picture.
I'm in danger of breaking a sweat.
Please read post 1 in the link below and I'll do the rest.

                  • An open question to Forum members.

Given that the Spring festivals after Cheltenham didn't go ahead, what is the likelihood that owners and trainers in the NH community will seek to maximise the horses already in training and on the payroll as it were, rather than bring in a host of new recruits. I'm wondering whether this could be the case and if so then might we ultimately see far more runners from Cheltenham 2020 returning in 2021 than is usually the case.

Possible, but I suppose the horses were already there and bred, so they will get sold regardless? Just perhaps cheaper than they would have done, as demand is down which could drive the price down.

                      They'll be someone to capitalise.

                        Guess we'll see in August.

                        • I did think that the delayed flat programme, smaller fields and reduced prize money might persuade a few owners to send their stayers novice hurdling next season, which is partly why I can’t consider anything for the Supreme or Triumph at this stage.
                          Time will tell...

I deff think so. There must be shed loads of horses that could had lost there maiden tags but were held back ( just in case) of better days

We wanted to let you know what options are available to you for your ante post Racing bets that you have placed with us.

                              1. You can cancel your bets at any time, and your original stakes would be returned in full to your account.
                              2. You can choose to leave your bets and if the event is void, we will void the bets and your original stakes returned in full.

                              • One thing bugging me about Saint Roi's County Hurdle victory - and how to assess him as a Champion Hurdle contender - is the proximity of Buildmeupbuttercup.

She was giving SR 4lbs and finished 5l back in fourth, running off a rating of 141.

Buttercup was absolutely cruising coming to the final flight and looked as likely to win as SR.

But she found little up the hill compared to SR.

Even so, the fact she got that close to SR either implies the form of the race is not that hot or that Buttercup ran out of her skin - and is one to think about in a handicap at the festival next year, maybe the Coral.

Here's a link to the race replay in case anyone wants to have a close look at Buttercup.

Buildmeupbuttercup was 11th in the mares novice hurdle last year - a length behind Epatante.

Anyone with any thoughts on how to square backing Saint Roi for the Champion with the fact Buttercup was going equally well up to the last 100 yards or so?
