So essentially, you're saying your dream is to own a flat horse because of the money.

I think Who Dares Wins would be the horse I'd most like to have owned that's knocking about at the moment..... Royal Ascot, Cheltenham Festivals, Arc Day, Aintree Festival ..... fences, hurdles, flat....

Be fun if more horses were campaigned like that.

    • I noticed on sporting life they seem to be doing throwbacks to horses etc.

Overturn....what a horse he was if talking all 3 disciplines. Chester cup, Northumberland plate, fighting fifth, placed in a champion hurdle, just collared in the aintree novice grade one over fences.

      • Did someone mention on here that Captain Guinness might be staying over hurdles, think from memory it was mentioned that someone connected with the horse stated as much on a podcast, cant seem to find the relevant posts on here. Many thanks

Will defo bare this in mind. Appreciate the heads up.

Depends how good they think he really is.
Right now they have the chance of giving him and easy campaign and setting him up for a Browns Advisory or Ultima bid.
Chances are they’ll train him for the Ryanair and he’ll finish a credible 5th...

I agree sadly i thought he could win that marsh chase this year! He was dissapointing but hes certainly not a bad horse! If he is well handicapped at some point ill back him because what he shown in the scilly isles was nice

                      • Those four are definitely ones who you would imagine will compete in grade 1s throughout next season. On top of them aione (who been mentioned on here already) janadil, sempo, leuitenent rocco are all horses I can see taking high ranking in the various novice chases throughout the season and at Cheltenham

Sorry that was meant to be in reply to last message

                            • From the lad (Andrew Halligan) who said Captain Gusiness would be going hurdling & not chasing on the latest podcast says ' I don't think we'll see Gypsy Island again'

Again could be pure speculation but worth keeping an eye on for now...

Has anyone heard anything on her recently?

Jesus he has only put Captain Guinness as his Arkle tip tonight further on in the Podcast. Feckin hell.... the same lad who said he likely was going over hurdle! Joker.
Looks like may have influenced a few here with hurdles comments!
