Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Me too. I don’t want to get stuck in to ante post as I like the summer off to continue to compile my shortlists.

    • Has anyone heard if Hobbs is planning on sending Sporting John over fences, cheers

The most annoying part of Sire Du Berlais for me is that he either wins first up in a graded race and then should be prob around the 10-12s mark, yet hes going to be that price in Oct now and even if beat wont be much bigger. He could easily be a horse that gets beaten a couple of times over the winter and deemed a tad under top notch then produce his best come March as he has the last 3 seasons now.

        • I’m not sure if you’ve always been able to do this but I’ve been able to put multiples on with Will Hills on their To Win Any Race market as long as you select one horse from each alphabetical catergory. For example I’ve bet Allaho, Latest Exhibition, Pic D’orhy and The Big Getaway in a Lucky 15 and I’ve also been able to boost one of the horses in the bet too. I think it’s very good value and although less odds takes the stress of losing an Antepost bet if a horse changes race.

          • Yeah been noted several times on here TKP, this year the first year they've let you use the first alphabetical group to pair up thou.

            • Yeah I was pleasantly surprised and got a bit carried away last night. The only down side of Will Hills is the unavailability of a cash out as I’ve already regretted placing a few of them 24hrs later

              • ....the other function with the Hills a/r selections is to add them to multiples from the specific race markets. I suppose this is an option for the FJ monthly Yankee bets.

Haha they cant win can they? Guys slagging them off for tipping a horse that has been tipped on here months ago, then the poor 'Tipsters' get a similar ear bashing for putting up a horse to early!

Yep, now we will all be aftertiming when we back them

Firstly not slagging him off merely suits the majority to preserve a priced horse as long as possible. I'm sure I speak for plenty when I say we would rather back a fancy at an attractive price as close to the race as possible . Secondly a few folk on here backing/tipping a horse don't have the reach or influence like a mainstream tipster does.

Easywork is one, if they choose to target the race, that could be a Champion Hurdle horse for me.
No-one knows if Giggs are serious about getting out the game or whether that statement was another attention seeking moment from the O’Learys, but if this still is the plan the race is a gap on their CV they may try to plug before their exit....
