I’m not going to lie I find their show quite entertaining, I like there enthusiasm and they have a good laugh with each other. Think he was joking with the whole getting a bigger price thing, don’t think he genuinely thinks he has the power to move markets. As others have said it’s your bet and your responsibility, it’s a game of opinions so you have to expect some Thoughts to be way off the mark. Trainers and owners should be careful with their comments and misleading people, but this guy is just a punter like all of us on here, and just happens to enjoy having a YouTube channel. Let’s not be too harsh, clearly just made some bad calls.

Nobody’s bothered about thoughts being way off the mark or being opinionated and passionate but when you’re deliberately putting people away for your own financial benefit is the behaviour of a selfish scumbag and we could do with less of those types in this game. So no I don’t think the criticism aimed his way is harsh at all. Anyway enough has been said on this idiot now.

They are best....but my advice would be not to abuse concession....and try to keep account open by other bets, etc

I'm very keen on Concertista too and think she's a great EW bet to nothing for next year's mares hurdle. She came second in her first ever start over hurdles in a good novice race last year and I thought her run this year was so visually impressive. She's going to improve again this year and hopefully the Mares will be her main aim for the year like Cheltenham was this year.
It sometimes can be difficult to rate form but I think Elfile can be a good yardstick. She came 5th(only beaten 5.5l) in the Novices last year and then came 3rd in the Mares(beaten 7l). She could have improved massively in order to have come 3rd but I think Concertista definitely has improved. She's 10/1 now which I've taken but I think her odds may get bigger in the Autumn as I think there's going to be only 1 race next year when she'll be at her total peak. Wishful thinking will also have Honeysuckle go chasing and Benie go for the Stayers(and comes second to Paisley Park )
Regarding Marie's Rock, a line of form through Midnight's Gift show's how much she would have needed to improve on that Taunton win to have been successful in the race won by Concertista(although Midnight's Gift may have severely underperformed).

Think we need clues on Honeysuckle plan before staking too much on this......and not forgetting Benie if not

I would make Honeysuckle one of best winners for sometime and personally thought won on merit....despite a brilliant ride vs 2 poor ones becoming the discussion

Might nibble at few other in time......but not much.....as will put Honeysuckle in several doubles later when plans become clear

Yep, i hear ya and thats why i flew into some Longchamp action yesterday (and...lost) but it was enough to take away the hurtin... should get a free bet though!

Obviously there is a possibility, though personally think she has more chance of going for the Stayers than the chase if she didn't end up in the mares hurdle.

I suppose technically she's already 'been chasing' and was pretty electric over her fences. There was definite doubts about her ability to go back hurdling prior to her winning the Mares Hurdle.


The most obvious comparison would be Vroum Vroum Mag and she always ended up in the Mares Hurdle... however, that may well be because a Mares Chase didn't exist!



My first instinct was she'd stay over hurdles. Perhaps it hinges on what Honeysuckle is doing. I can't think of a Mare that'd be favourite against Benie Des Dieux over the mid trip, she'd be fav against Put The Kettle On, Laurina, Happy Diva etc...




Couldn't back her for the specific target though.

I had a winner , swiftly followed by 6 unplaced .

Hi chaps, wasn't sure where to put this but here will do seeings how it is the most popular thread.

I've been having trouble with Betfair since yesterday morning when I went to deposit. My card details were shaded out with a message stating that credit cards are no longer valid, which I guess everybody knows anyway. But my card is a visa debit. After a lot emails I had finally had enough and got quiet shitty with CS guy, saying I wanted an email from the pay dept because if there is a security issue I deserve to be given the info.

A few minutes later the guy got a message from pay dept saying that there is an issue with their system since they got rid of credit cards in April and it is not a short term issue. They advised me to use different deposit methods.obviously with no sports on, maybe forum members haven't checked their card details for a while, but obviously this impacts on paddy power as well.

Hope you guys are all ok and don't get the run around that I got.
