On Eagles wings complimenting Ferny Hollow there. What's the verdict here suprme or Ballmore?

Everyone seemed to be on Lamarckise this year, probably courtesy of Scooby putting her up. She's 50/1 for the mares race, with some of the quality horses like honeysuckle and maybe a few other possibly chancing their arms at the new mares chase....anyone think she might be a decent bet. Think both willie and Patrick said she'd be one for next year....

While I understand the appeal I couldn't back either of these 2 for a good while for differing reasons.

I'm going to be very wary of backing any horses with real money that missed the 2020 Festival through injury and even more so with those that have missed it 2 years in a row now which includes the likes of Malone Road, Saldier, Glenloe, Champagne Classic and CPS.

I couldn't back Ferny Hollow based on that PTP run which is available online somewhere. His jumping looked particularly ropey and it was only his engine that got it home. Now of course a year or 2 with Willie may well sort that out, but I'd want to hear some positive words from the gallops or early season market support to tempt me in before his seasonal debut.

I'm making a conscious decision to avoid the horses that missed this year's festival, with the exception of CPS.

Ferny Hollow is going to go into plenty of my early multiple bets. His engine is something else, given the way he pulled early and still flew up the hill.

I think you have to assume that if CPS and Altior are involved the others are fighting for 3rd place.

Agreed re Malone Road being a risk but for a small 1/2 point stake I feel there is value there.

.....had a really good Festival, and my most profitable bets were early placed doubles to small stakes. I’ll be putting a few on again.

Nicholls has confirmed that Clan des Obeaux will not go to Cheltenham next year.

Also mentioned him targeting Punchestown with CDO and Politologue this year which is fantastic news, U.K. don’t send nearly enough horses over to Ireland

First bet placed, very small stakes on malone Road at 25/1. It was my first bet last year as well so let's hope it lasts a little longer this time

You know what I actually forgot about that race! Interesting, will maybe hold off on other Mares at this stage!
