Hello Fat Jockeys,

Rewatched all of day 1&2 now i'm back from the week , amazing how much you miss/notice when there and caught up in it all. The Fall/BD of Captain Guinness impeded Shishkin no end and forced the mare in the race very wide convinced she would of at least got 5th as she had two incidents in the race, back to Shishkin and considering the poor passage and being niggled along earlier than anticipated he just looked better the further he went. He may well end up in the Arkle but hes going to be even better over further surely ?

Straight off the bat net years Ch all of a sudden could have Abaca/Goshen the return of a rejuvenated KD possibly too some much welcome fresh talent to the 2m division

I was really taken with The big Getaway he looks a monster physically Rsa the obvious target, thought Allaho as has been mentioned travelled and jumped with plenty of zest and that intermediate trip of the Ryanair should come under serious consideration. Unpopular opinion potentially but i don't think this years Rsa will scratch up to last years and with Champ being 8yo already i wouldn't be too keen on him for next years GC thou could see Minella Indo being a player.

This is the same price Altior/Yorkhill were after they won the Supreme and Ballymore, and that worked pretty well when they went novice chasing....

With the Novice Staying Chase division likely to look strong again based on the Albert Bartlett, hard to imagine them going "up" to 3m with either, and if they both look to be top of the tree, you can see them 'avoiding' each other.... (or certainly not striving to take each other on)

Very, very long way to go though.

Trying to sort out who goes where next season is obviously very difficult but just at first glance the Arkle may look a substandard division for Shishkin to dominate the way footpad did a few years back. I’d imagine Klassical Dream will go this route but wouldn’t be too concerned by him with his quirky issues. The only other one that maybe of interest would be Elixir D’ainay. Seemed to be going well when coming down and give Envoi Allen some sort of race earlier in the season (50/1 with Bet365) But in all honesty I think Shishkin really will turn out to be top class.

          Envoi Allen 5/1 - Marsh
          Goshen 6/1 - CH
          Fury Road 14/1 - RSA
          CPS 5/1 - Champion Chase

          Yankee totalling 2.75pts

Ferny Hollow and Shishkin any race double 1.25pt 65/1

The 4 miler would suit him, if he went over fences.
Maybe he'll go for the stayers. As he'll get slapped for winning so well.

Worth mentioning they are letting you double/perm horses even in the A-F column as last year for some reason it wouldn't let you with any horse in said column.

Where do people think Flinteur Sacre will be targeted? I assume the Supreme.

...12-1 Santini with PP is now a thing of the past, into 8-1 for the GC.

Melon is interesting given the trainers comments about stepping up in trip.

Of Melon, Mullins said: "He ran a fantastic race, and that's the fourth second in a Grade One he has had here. The cheekpieces have definitely helped his jumping, as he was gaining lengths with his jumping and on the whole it was very good.

"Hopefully he might race in the big one (Gold Cup) in the future, as he jumps and stays."

Too early to speculate on Flinteur imo.
