Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

That would be a smash up bet for me, but expect your account to go...

I’ve only had 4pts on it - they shouldn’t be worried about a mug punter like me, it’s you seasoned vets they need to look out for

Haha, I should probably be offended at that but I’m not !
As a side issue, don’t think your accounts are safe because your stakes aren’t huge, I have friends who’ve had multiple accs closed who haven’t had a bet bigger than 50 quid in their lives...

        • Was just thinking, I wonder how many FJ patents/yankees etc get placed today on such a non event of a Saturday...

Having played a fair bit of vets football it was more the 'seasoned' bit that surprised...

There's not a lot to do today until the rugby comes on, my guess would be there's loads placed today in lieu of betting on todays racing

                    • Someone on here put up a treble ages ago..........Energumene - Arkle, Shan Blue - Marsh and Melon - Ryanair.
Cant remember who? but not looking too shabby each way right now.
Massive for me if they all won, big problem though in the shape of Shiskin and Envoi !!

                        • ....Jonjo O’Neill stable tour might be of interest;

The Master of Jackdaws Castle is targeting more Grand National glory while the future looks bright thanks to some smart-looking Bumper performers.

...and Jamie Lynch with some ‘forgotten horses’ he thinks are worthy of consideration:

Sky Sports Racing Senior Analyst, Jamie Lynch thinks a quintet of forgotten horses are worth bearing in mind with Cheltenham on the horizon.

                          • Hills have a to finish first 4 bet for Captain Guinness, Melon, Minella Melody, Eklat de Rire and The Storyteller @ 375/1 with boost. Seems smashing value to me.

Personally, I'm not keen on place bets that include novice chasers particularly ones with letters in their form.

That’s fair enough. Suppose that’s reflected in the price as I imagine CG is adding a fair bit to the odds. I do like the way CG travelled LTO and wasn’t unimpressed by his previous showing on unfavoured heavy ground.
