Yes Gordon could have a few odds-on or short favs after scaring off the opposition.
We probably wont be learning much about Abacadabras on Friday.
Even Coeur Sublime looked like a worldbeater when thrashing the opposition in this race a year ago by 15 lengths.

Prices for the Morgiana will be even more attractive.
If Aba runs in the WKD hurdle on Friday at Down Royal he is unlikely to run in the Morgiana just over 2 weeks later. Might be of interest for anybody with a Unibet account to look out for decs. on Wed. Abacadabras 11/10 fav with unibet for Morgiana. Could be a bet w/o the fav. without lower prices

Agree. He won't be going anywhere near the Morgiana.
Jason the Militant will be a decent opponent v Aba. Fit from flat run and beat Beacons Edge over hurdles last season. Aba should still thump him though.

Just to be cautious here not to totally rule it out as per Elliot quote below
The races for him between now and March are obvious enough and I'm looking forward to getting him started in the Grade 2 second season hurdle at the big Down Royal meeting. If everything went well there he could go for the Morgiana Hurdle and then on to Leopardstown at Christmas and by then we should have a fair idea where we stand. He has done very well over the summer and looks to have strengthened up a good bit since last year.

I think the "could" word rather than would is important. If Aba ran and finished his race at Down Royal, I would still be surprised if he ran in Morgiana win lose or draw at DR
