Haha, thanks It was a satisfying one

He jumped really, really well from what I remember. Not indulged myself in watching any replays at all yet.

Saving it for next weekend I think!

...ridiculously slow in paying out Cheltenham winnings.

        • First two bets down

Abacadbras CH 10's/Allaho Ryanair 10's ew double.

Sizing Pottsie TWAR 16's (bit flimsy tbh)

          • I think Notebook is good value at 33-1 for the Champion Chase. He was the standout novice chaser this year whom, in my opinion, left his Arkle performance at the Dublin Racing Festival. One would have to assume he would remain at 2m given his success throughout the season and 33-1 is simply too big. It wouldn’t be unreasonable to assume that Altior’s best days are behind him and Defi will be stepped up in trip. Chacun Pour Soir hasn’t made the festival yet albeit he was very unlucky this year.

There's always going to be a few negatives when backing a horse at 33s but his Cheltenham form is a concern to me. He could step up though and would shorten significantly with a couple of early season wins.

              • Notebook is a talented horse but was unruly on the way to the start last week passing half the field getting to the start, until he settles better in the prelims and early in his races he won’t get near a championship victory in my opinion...

Summary below : Bob Olinger Career Summary

Bob Olinger is a 5yo b unknown from Ireland trained by*H De Bromhead, who is based at Waterford. It is sired by the stallion Sholokhov out of the dam Zenaide.*

Bob Olinger has managed to win 2 races in its career so far. On 7th Mar 2020 at Gowran Park, Bob Olinger scored its most significant win to date, getting the money in the*$14,149*'doc's Bumper' Point-to-point Flat Race.*

It has proven a profitable horse for the punters over the journey. If you had backed Bob Olinger throughout its career you'd have achieved a 288% return on investment.

I have gone for ANY race at 16s.

Pretty impressive in his PTP and his debut for Henry de Bromhead over 2m 2f at Gowran, where beating Coqolino, whom himself won a PTP very well.

Same sire as Shishkin, though don't know an awful lot about his dam side. Wouldn't have a clue what connections plans are for him, so maybe any race is the way to go for me.

                      • Thank's Nortons ,C.O.D , Henry de Bromhead is a Trainer to take seriously at the festival .
So will most likely be adding Bob sometime.

                        • Without being able to cashout, is 16/1 generous for a HdB novice hurdler?

His his very good (proven) Captain Guinness was available at 16/1 with 7 places on the day before the race...

Very, very early and not that juicy a price IMO

                            This is a valid point.

Can back for both novice races with cash out, so that would probably be more enticing. Just means being on the ball.

Personally, probably not going to back many novice hurdlers for a little while yet. Jumped on the RR potential, as I do every season though.
