Spreadsheet as well, have been for a few years now and make improvements each year. Have tabs for singles, rabs, multis etc. P/L and a prices tracker which i start checking every 2/3 weeks from Nov. Also a page for notes/handicappers etc and an overall cover sheet for my singles so i can look at a glance for each race what i have.

I've got spreadsheets going back to 2009, which is great for comparing how well I've done on each race over the years (Ryanair, Gold Cup and then Cross Country are my top three over that time, but am yet to break my duck on a handful ).

Sad, but whenever I have a bet I enter in into my FJ diary then about a week before the festival I’ll go through the pain of getting them all onto a Word document that I print and carry with me throughout the week and after each race I’ll enter a ‘place’ or ‘win’ next fo each leg of a multi with a line going through the losers, any bets I have on the day I handwrite onto the sheet.
Plenty of good FJ members have provided template spreadsheets etc but it’s all far too much for idiots like me.
Good luck whatever method you choose…

I use Google sheets so that I can use it on multiple devices
After many years its well crafted now.
I have a master sheet that everything goes in. It had a few cells that autopopulate from a vlookup (namely the race number to make sorting easier, and day of the festival) and then outputs like stake, forecast return (I don't do this for multiples though) and have added a column this year to give me proper stats on win today/roll ups etc.
I then use the master sheet as the base for a series of pivot tables to track the variables im interested in
- total for won/lost/cashed/NRNB bets
-race by race live bets return for each selection
- race by race total p/l
- day by day and multiple p/l tracker
The great thing is I just put the data in the master sheet and they all auto update
First two are used most of the season to track overall expenditure and what my return on each selection is
Then festival week its all aboard the other two which are great for a picture of how it's going live

I dont go too mad into it, im straight to the point with it really i dont know too much about computers or anything like that like most of you..so all i do is screen shot my bets and put them into a photo album called chelt 2022 and add my stakes on all bets as a total and dont withdraw anthing until the friday evening..thats how i work out my profit at the end of the festival really, very rough and not very proffesional but its easy for me..ill get more technical next year but ive not got the best patience in the world to be honest!

Exactly the same here.
Best bit is getting it out on the train and showing the lads (bit rude) who don't bet antepost.

Wouldn’t be anywhere near as advanced as Robith now I feel like a tech genius when I manage to get excel to automatically add up cumulative profit or loss but if you’re having more than a couple of bets in each reach excel is the only way to go IMO and you don’t have to be any technologically gifted at al to get it to do a lot of the monotonous legwork for you calculating outlay for each race potential returns overall etc.
I tend to write them down in my iPhone notes as I place them and once or twice a week will update the excel with any additional selections, cashed out bets with returns etc
