        She is not a boat.

She jumped and travelled lovely and any double figure Mares Chase price is fair IMHO.

Yeah that was a pretty smart round of jumping.

A good bit short of Elimay still and likely Concertistas level though would be a fair assessment? Couldnt touch 9 or 10s imo.

              …still 13-1 with Ladbrokes boost.

Fair points on the jumping front, she was very good, but she was getting 3lb from a rival that is rated 8lbs lower and then her only other rival barely jumped a twig.

Absolutely, she was entitled to win as was very well in at the weights but it was how she did it that impressed me.

Be interesting to see what Gordo says.

She certainly wont be campaigned for the Kim Muir now!

She beat that horse by pretty much the same distance off levels in a novice chase, so it doesn't really tell us anything other than what we knew before, IMO, and if you didn't fancy her before I'm not sure what would have changed? Yet some have added her on the back of that.

She's form lines with Elimay already too.

Sadly for backers the ground on the Friday could be on the fast side of good which will inconvenience her big time. Soft ground fez then a possible . Not for me though.

"She did it really well and Davy is delighted with her. It is obviously her first appearance this season but you couldn't be happier and the main aim is the Grand National." Lisa O'Neill - Mount Ida.

Makes complete sense. That's where I'd be sending her. They'll not be wanting to get into a war with Elimay, Concertista and GOL as a prep for the GN .

I am not so sure.... graded festival winning mares can be worth a few quid.

They won't be selling- Kevin Doyle started it and think he wants to make it a breeding operation.

Re Ida, i've been a fan for sometime, but she's much better right handed- that was RH today, so it was to suit.

As good a performance as todays was it hides the fact she needs a trip to be seen at her absolute best, and they’re on record as saying the National is her long term target.
She was plotted for the Kim Muir last season but I can see them swerving Cheltenham this season with the focus on April…
