        That is great news, Eggs.

        She deserves her holiday now.

        • Riviere d'etel was super impressive today

I wonder if she'd stay this far

Can see her falling short in grade 1s then either coming here or to a handicap

Be interesting to see what Mark the handicapper gives her

She was quoted at 6/1 Bet365 for this when I requested it, 10s WH were first up and then I found 20/1 Unibet, which I couldn’t believe my eyes, then took it.

It didn’t last long, now 8/1 with them.

I have got back from Cheltenham and just watched the video back, she was sensational, thrashing two horses mid-140’s by 21 lengths and 29 lengths is nuts.

She was receiving 18lbs, due to being a 4yo Mare, but even if you cut that back to just 7lb of the Mares allowance, she was still 10 to 15 lbs better than two 140+ geldings.

I did look at her pedigree at the start of the year, when backing her for the Boodles, and she is bred to get mid-trips.

            • They may even save her for the fairyhouse novice grade 1 over 2m4f

I was certainly impressed with her jumping and the way she relentlessly galloped them into the ground

Whether she'd stay would be my fear too FF if she went for the Mares Chase based on her style of running and the way she emptied up the hill in the Pipe.

Reckon she'd be more suited by the Arkle but, as you say, she might just fall short.

Best option for me would be the Grand Annual - novice Entoucas was a short-head 2nd this year off 143 and fellow novice Embittered (fell) was favourite off 146.

So provided her new mark doesn't go far north of 140 she'd have a decent chance .

Couldn't fail to be impressed by her today but trying to lead from the start in a race like the GA would be mighty tough. Wonder if she'd be so effective with a bit more restraint.

Could she go to The Arkle? Her jumping was fast and fluent. I think 2m would be her optimal trip at the moment.

Literally spent a few moments wondering who "Mark" the handicapper is!

I love how grammatical errors or misplaced capital letters can fundamentally change the meaning of a sentence. I heard this example the other day:

”I was very pleased to be able to help my Uncle Jack off his horse” versus
“I was very pleased to be able to help my Uncle jack off his horse”

Just one little capital letter just ever so slightly changes the sentence!

Reminds me of when I accidentally rang somebody and apologised. Wish I'd said I rang them because of a butt dial now instead of a booty call.......

As impressive as she was she jumped right at most fences and that would be enough to put me off for any race at Cheltenham.

You thought she jumped right at most fences ?
                              I didn't see that.
If they are the margins we are going to judge these horses on, then this right handed and left handed talk is going too far IMO.

If a horse is turning right handed a lot it's actually what you'd want a horse to do to a small degree. And vice versa the other way around.
They are usually looking forward to where they are likely to go next.

Some fences are also positioned in such a way, and the ground falls away at some fences just enough to mean that it's completely natural.
And she looked straight to me at most.
I certainly wouldn't be put off her for that reason, as their are other reasons why she'll probably not be good enough.

Agree to disagree then. I've just watched it back and yes I think she jumps right at most of the fences.
