    • Elimay isn't travelling with any sort of fluency in the early stages of her races this season, very different to the previous.

      • Wonder if she’s one of those mares that just downs tools at the start of a new season?

        • Thought Elimay battled well tbh, was in a little bit of bother a couple of times but kept giving it plenty. Either short of a bit of fitness or just not as good as others, but definitely no lack of heart from what I saw.

          • I'd be surprised if they aren't both placed in this.

            • How good was Davy in that finish! He's absolutely mustard at driving one out.

I thought that bump between the front two would have handed Elimay the race, but not to be.

Happy with the result myself. She's not travelling which much fluency and had she pissed up the flames on this Concertista switch would have no doubt been flamed.

              • Not sure what to think of Elimay, just looks a bit lacklustre.

…5-1 now but they have been slower in adjusting that a/r list than the actual race market. Always worth a quick check.

                  • Not a huge fan of Mark Walsh me. Think he cost her the race last year here tbh

Seconded. Not one to criticise jockeys too much but he's one of the only big name jockeys that when I see him on a horse I like I give a little tut to myself.

                      • Watching that I really wasn't impressed by either mount ida or elimay

Starting to strongly consider backing silver forever at 10/1

That seems quite a bold shout.

Not disagreeing in particular, but it's bold

In March though, Elimay and Mount Ida get their "trainers boosts" and improve about 10 lbs over any other point in the season

I wonder if you'll get 10/1 NRNB for Silver Forever?

Not a race that'll have a standout though, so unlikely to cut up as much as others.

Especially when they are 2nd and 3rd favs... you probably hate Concertista?

                                I might back Mount Ida - 7/1 isn't bad.
