  • She's basically beat Minella Melody in her career and got the rating based upon that.
    Although on the plus side.
    She's run well at Cheltenham.

      Riviere Detel.

      It's a price thing really.
Her form is not that good when you look back.
And she doesn't look to have improved a great deal for fences either, at least, in the little evidence we have seen so far.
      Todays race was very poor.
Her only serious rival fell early on.
She's plenty short based on what she's actually achieved, but I think she'll be better than all of that lot barring PTKO, who will most likely go QMCC IMO.

I don't think we'll learn much more about Concertista next time out either, which probably means, for those who have missed big prices, that people are better off waiting until the day.

I’d pretty much agree with all that, maybe elimay too. Concertista has done all that’s been asked of her so far I don’t see any issue apart from her current odds.
I doubt rivi?re detel runs in the mares and probably not ptko either I think they will try and defend the champion chase in the end.
She beats mount ida (boat) and the glancing queen easily. Elimay and silver forever are the two dangers.

        • Zambella got to be worth at least a mention on here after that today.
          Impressive I thought.

Sky still have her 3/1 to place in the race which I've used in a few multiples.

She was just getting involved last year when she fell, having been pretty keen on the first circuit. 3s to place is fair and if it comes up soft she would have a decent enough chance imo.

Along with Annie Mc who looked like beating her at Aintree until a lack of a run told.

                • PTKO, Elimay, Court Maid, Scarlet & Dove and Mount Ida declared for the 2M5F Mares Chase at Fairyhouse on Saturday. Cracking field! PTKO giving 7lbs to Elimay.

Yeah I regret not backing her now before yesterdays win. It wouldn’t be a big surprise is Zambella or Consertiesta were sent to the Turner Prize, the owners love a runner in that and if Bob is still red hot Fav by the festival the field will probably be small so there could be a easy money to be made placing

Zambella isn’t a novice so she won’t be going there

                      • I’m hoping 40/1 about Roseys Hollow looks good after the first at Naas on Sunday, she came on leaps for her first outing last season before winning the Solerina, she’s very well bred for fences too & jumped lovely first time out!

She will appreciate the step un in trip also. 2 miles is just a little too sharp for her.

Same trip as last time RB, trip should be fine again I’ve a feeling the trainer left a bit of conditioning on her before her last outing, her half sister on the dams side was a smart mare of Willie’s & Beat Hollow is a fine sire! Plenty of positives.

No I meant compared to the mares novice hurdle last season when she got outpaced. Her seasonal debut this year was identical to last season. Hunt round towards the outside and don’t give her a hard time and as you say she came on a bundle for it last season and I fully expect her to do the same this time
