What are peoples thoughts on Galvin facing the new course for the first time when he runs next week, not something to worry about as his stamina will be suited to the course or something to be concerned about?

I personally am not worried about this for Galvin - others may have a more nuanced view but I feel the stamina he has should do him fine.

I am likely to back him but I almost think his biggest potential issue is not living up to the body of form he has built up, in what is the ultimate test.

I really like what he has done, but I have a small thought in the back of my head to whether the form is a little ‘false’ , especially given the original target for the season.

My slight concern with Galvin, is that he is going to have to make the running. Which I don't like, if he sits in with them all, it'll be a sprint finish in which I don't see APT being beat.

I'd be surprised if they changed run style to make the running.

Tracked leaders when winning against APT. Why do you think they'd change tactics with him?

Potentially, and maybe more likely Santini, but it's not going to be a red hot pace is it? I think it's going to be a very tactical gold cup and I actually think Galvin will win, how he goes about it, I have no idea, I do think however APT holds a better finish than him.

I think, like most I'd prefer Jack on board but that's life !
