    • Galvin need to keep improving, but with better ground and the cheltenham hill he’s a live outsider you would think. Fantastic race

          • Can see why he's shortened for the GC, but I'm thinking is if he's not good enough to beat Frodon (with all due respect) when race fit having travelling as he has, then how will he fair vs better rivals in March? He's a fascinating contender tho, no denying that and those with 40/1 slips have done well.

            • Galvin into 16-1 for the Grand National with most firms.

Yeah right - off 166+ you gotta be joking.

Everyone's racing with the Spring in mind first and foremost, Frodon for today and Christmas. I think it was promising how close Galvin made it.

Yep. Impossible for GN now. GC is the only option. Chances as well.

It was very promising, he just looks a little one paced to my eye. That can be no bad thing in a Gold Cup, just going and staying.

                    • Gotta expect next destination to run a big race at haydock now seeing how well galvin has done

minella indo ran exactly as I expected, travelled and jumped nicely but fitness took its toll

                              • Just listened to Henry post race, asked if he’s going to step envoi Allen up and he says he’s not sure as he’s a very pacey horse and could go either way. Doesn’t sound like he’ll be going to the gold cup to me.
