  • You'd think Gordon will have a second horse in the Gold Cup. Firstly to ensure Jack rides for him and doesn't get on the back of one of Galvin's biggest dangers. And secondly to ensure that they go a good gallop, because if for any reason they didn't it would play against Galvin who needs it to be a proper staying test.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

Two good horses who both go there with a serious chance, but I'm a little surprised anyone would have them both above last years one-two if I'm honest...

I'm staggered that relationship has stayed intact for as long as it has...

                      He's right.
O'Leary was being flippant with his assessment.
You win the Irish Gold cup that impressively, then you've got to have a go.
And why have more concern of Galvin vs Allaho ??
Just being a div, as per usual.

                          • One less here as well, looks like Fiddler going straight to the National

                            • Kevloaf Aye Right is 100/1 shot with SkyBet.

                              Form at Cheltenham is: 6533
                              6th over Hurdles
5th in Champ’s RSA albeit a long way back
3rd in Ultima last year carrying almost top weight
3rd in Cotswold Chase behind Chantry House/Santini

On the face of it he would look nowhere near good enough but he is a hardy little horse with nothing to lose. You can’t blame them for taking a chance.

His jumping is reliable and has only not completed once on his chase debut. You could have more faith him staying the trip then Protektorat? having ran in Scottish National last year at the end of a fairly busy season. So a bold call could be that he is most reliable of the British?!

He won’t be the classiest horse in the line up but stranger things have happened.

For the Northern raiders - EW double with Tommy’s Oscar in the Champion Hurdle. Retire on the winnings
