Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I think you are pretty safe there, can’t see her riding MI anyway

As a backer I would be fine with that

I know what a complete doughnut. At least I was there or thereabouts from a dna perspective

The Galvin price looks value to me for those who maybe aren't on him for the GC. He'll probably go off fav for the IGC and if he wins that he'll be around 3'sbest for the GC.

Isn't he going straight to Cheltenham now?

Good point. They did say that didn't they ? If so, it's clearly an awful price !!

….I was more thinking if there was value when you take out the ones that won’t be going. I also read Galvin is going straight to Cheltenham.

                  • They said that but the 150k bonus must be tempting. PP prices:

I do hope not. Could mess his GC chances right up. Don't do it !!!!

                      • The 150k bonus put up by Paddy Power is something which could have an affect on the Gold Cup for sure. I'm pleased that APT goes straight to Cheltenham as I wouldn't want him having another hard race, especially so close to Cheltenham, which I think the Irish Gold Cup would be even without considering the added PP incentive.

                        • I liked the Galvin price at first glance too, but actually I’d be put right off him for the Gold Cup if he ran in or even won the Irish Gold Cup.

He’s had a fairly busy season so far, contesting & winning most of the top staying races, and I’d be worried that this may be a race too many & there not being enough time for him to have a break than ramp it up again.

Or he could just as easily be a horse that thrives on a lot of racing & he’d take it in his stride. We’re so used to seeing top horses only running 3-4 times a year now that racehorses racing can actually seem like a bad thing to people now!

                          • Can't see Galvin going to the Irish Gold Cup myself -he's had two extended breaks before the Festival in 2020 & 2021 so he obviously goes well fresh.

He's Gordon's best chance of winning the Gold Cup after his 'year out' and he'll know that. As much as the PP bonus would be tempting he must know that it wouldn't be a positive for his chances in March?

                            • Not a massive shock but Galvin is going straight here apparently.

                              • If Galvin does win, he'll do the same as Synchronised in 2012, winning at Leopardstown at Christmas and going straight to Cheltenham.
