Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Yeah he did and agreed not ideal. He was also run off his feet and never travelling throughout which I’m hoping the step up to 3m will sort out. Other than that run though, Cheltenham form reads 122 so he clearly likes the track, the trainer has said they’re looking forward to stepping up in trip and runs for owners who know how to win it. At the price (50s generally) I’m happy to take a chance the step up will suit.

    • Didn't realise IA bled, well worth noting. I might add TBG f

      • Fully on board with imperial aura as a value bet in gold cup. Gave Galvin a pound and a beating in the novice handicap chase a couple of years ago and has basically followed the same path as a plus tard but with slightly different results. I'm more than willing to forgive the last two runs and whilst the blood vessel breaking is a concern, it's well accounted for in the price. I don't think 14/1 for the Betfair chase is a bad pric either if he's ready to go on the day...

        • Rachael gets/keeps the Envoi Allen ride on Saturday. Davy riding Vado Forte in the same race, Jack on Coko Beach.

If this situation stays all the way to the GC, which I wouldn't be surprised who will ride the other of Minella Indo or A Plus Tard after Rachel gets her pick.

Jack could miss out on a GC win here just because of Gordon's stubbornness

              • That’s the job though, Gordon has to do the best for his owners

I'm guessing it'll be Darragh O'keefe if Jack doesnt get his ride back

100%! Harsh... but fair! Why would he give his competition his rider to someone else when he can pull rank and get his jockey for HIS horses and HIS Employers?

Yes it's controversail as its a Gold Cup horse but still needs to stand up here.

                    • Tough for Davy and Jack to not having Indo or Envoi to look forward to for the year. They're both bound to be gutted. Fair enough from Gordon though, I don't think he's being too sour.

                      • Gordon probably won't have two GC contenders come March as his staying chasers already look a little thin in the ground, so Jack and/or Davy will probably be available.

                        • O'Leary believes Envoi Allen is one of the best, if not the best horse, he has ever seen, and expects a cakewalk from the favourite if he's back to anything like his best.

O'Leary said: "Coko Beach is a nice horse but he's taking on the best horse who I feel has ever looked through a bridle.

"We've a nice horse but we're taking on a superstar. If Envoi Allen is over whatever hiccup he had in the spring, he'll be impossible to beat."

Quite pleased with Minella Indo, miles away from fitness but kept at it well and jumped great the whole way round, as they all did in fairness.
