Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Think he’ll end up tailed off in the Ultima and probably retired before Easter…

Must be one of the least attractive bets going when you hear the trainer say he's not schooling him because he doesn't want to exacerbate back issues. I'm sure thats vets advice and the right thing to do, but given his inconsistent jumping you'd have to be mad to think he's a viable candidate at the top level off health issues and no schooling. I can envisage the same rollercoaster this season as last, although its not Hendo's fault he has back issues, just one of those frustrating things.

Thanks AV. I do like the way HDB goes about his business. Mentions a target, enters the horse, runs the horse. Same race Minella Indo won on debut last year

              • So,. Eklat de rire runs today. What do we need to see today in regards to his credentials come March? As his first run since his stumble in the Rsa, I'd like to see a good clean win first and foremost.

                • Everything looks in favour of EDR today. Has won first time up twice so must be a good winded horse, likes Heavy which may be against others, opposition looks weak, distance not an issue. Good round of jumping and a win expected. It'll be a slog in the mud though!

Yep, here’s hoping for a solid performance.

                    • I'm hoping he runs well, but not placing too much weight on the result IF it does turn out to be a prep for the Ladbrokes as HDB implied the other day. Indeed, if it is, I'd rather he didn't win or have a hard race so he could scoot home in that in a month's time...

                      • A flag on today though - this century no Gold Cup winner has run on officially heavy ground that season.

Of course, trends are there to be broken

Very good point especially in view of today's ground. I was going to top up on him for GC but won't now as I can see it panning out where his price doesn't drop today

Really? With the way bookies react surely if wins price will drop? Will probably get more punters backing so would have to drop on that aspect too!

                              • If the big dog is actually trying eklat de rire will need to run very well to give him all that weight

If Henry wants to run him in the ladbrokes trophy will they even want to win today?
