"If we think he can win a Ballymore, he should win an Albert Bartlett."
Maybe Gordon’s been given the nod from CPS that Sir G is Ballymore bound and he knows the likely outcome.

Or that Dysart Dynamo is Ballymore bound.

        • Cash the Hollow Games slips I'd say.

That was my very first thought too Jackie. Ginto moving to the AB definitely makes the race easier for SG too. The Minella Crooner injury could potentially have the biggest negative knock on effect in all my years of antepost betting

Why would an owner who took all their horses off him 12 months ago give him a nod?

Did I hear it wrong but didn't Gordon openly say he was very impressed with Sir Gerhard when he saw him schooling?

It was Bob/Dysart I think most notably, which isn't to say there weren't others he said it about.

"I saw Bob Olinger schooling in Navan (last week), it was just getting dark and you could only really see him over the last two fences and it looked like he jumped them awesome.

"And without trying to sound like the great man Ruby Walsh, I just loved the way he went from the last to the line. From what I saw, I was very impressed.

"I thought Dysart Dynamo was good in Punchestown, he looked awesome from what I saw. It was only a Grade Two, but that's as impressive on the eye that I've seen (in the novice division). Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. He's not one of ours, but I thought he looked good."

                      • Ginto will run in the Albert Bartlett.

"I met with Noel and Valerie today and we're going to go for the Albert Bartlett with Ginto. He's a Grade 1 winner and I think the race will suit him and he'll go there with a chance."

Replace the word 'Ginto' with 'Journey With Me' here and you'd have made my day. Alas...

He's doing himself no favours with these quotes surely. Might as well just be open and say MC coming out has changed the target...

Gordon wants Cheltenham winners for the Morans. Ginto best chance was always this race with Willie sending one of his two star novice's to the Ballymore.

That'd be perfectly fine if Gordon hadn't said less than a week ago that Ginto 'definitely' goes for the Ballymore.
