He will be injured then but feeling that Henry will stick to JWM for Ballymore sadly as he has that Clonmel horse for the AB on Thursday.

Or both, of course!

With this race looking an open renewal this year I started to look at the full entries, on finding Shantreusse trained by Henry and is the only other entry for the race he as other that JWM I had a good look.
He is entered on Thursday at Clonmel for the Surehaul Mercedes Benz hurdle G3 a race on Saxon's planning diary. A good pointer for a Bartlet Henry horse in the past.
The horse clearly stays well and with decent bumper form over 2ml and then moved to Henry's where he ran a nice first time up race over 2.5ml against Mr. Fred Rogers who is also a runner on Thursday again. Shantreusse very much looked after in the race imo.
Last time out was a nice win over 3ml jumping really well, winning easy when the danger fell at the last but would have won anyway imo. They were clear of the rest.
A good run and win on Thursday against a 132 rated Mr. Fred Rogers just may put him in the picture for the Bartlet, with 40/1 for the brave available and NRNB of 33/1 available at the moment for me is a bet for the race.

Feels like Henry may have made plans based on Gerri coming here… so that may all now change.
on an unrelated note Kev, I was down your ends on Sunday and visited ‘Street’. It’s no almost famous but not a bad one to have on your doorstep!

That said, it could just be that connections no longer think jwm is a stayer which is why he seems destined elsewhere.

With Ginto and JWM looking Balleymoore bound, I'm not too convinced about a winner coming from the top end of the market. Take out Ginto and JWM and then you're looking at 3 Elliot Horses, the fav and third fav who have been beaten a few times already. This is also a race that Elliot has never won. He's gone close and he will surely win it one day, but at the moment as it still stands he has never won this race.
I still think Classic Getaway is overpriced at 20/1 nrnb with Bet365 (10/1 with Paddies). Personally I don't think he has done much wrong, he lost his first hurdle race against Cash Back a 141 rated hurdler and 156 rated over fences who was having his 12th career race and has been mixing it with the big boys. I was actually looking at the horse he beat who was 3rd by 85 lenghts and was having his 6th career race. Personally I don't think anything else in the betting would have beaten Cash Back first time out.
He then beat a lot more experienced horses next time out at a trip that suited them more. It took Mullins a lot longer to get him out compared to a few of his others stable stars and I think this horse really needs a step up in trip and we will see a much better horse. I still think he's a good bet in this race along with Hillcrest compared to some at the top end.

If Henry De Bromhead doesn't switch Journey With Me back toward the bartlett now Gerri Colmbe is not any sort of issue (if he ever was)
He's a fucking idiot.
Nothing to do with my bets, it would just be a bizarre decision especially if Ginto goes Ballymore along with one of Mullins 2. If Ginto goes Bartlett then fair enough.
Without Ginto, your favourite is Minella Crooner, with Hollow Games & Cocooner up there too.
Surely this would look a winnable race for a galloper like him given the form.
