  • Strange market now this. Gordon appears to have 4 decent horses for this, both Hollow Games and Minella Crooner both ran good races with Albert Bartlett in mind. Then he has said Gerri Colombe will go Bartlett. But the one horse imo who would win this race is Ginto. But he has the best 2m4f form, and Gordon doesn't appear to have anything for the Ballymore. The other 3 deserve their shot at the Bartlett but does he send a 4th and his best chance?

I probably agree with this as well - as much as I (like you) don't like it.

I would say though - GJ's action looked horrible to me from the very start of the race. If anyone who has a better understanding of that gets chance, please have a look at his back legs throughout the race and let me know what you think please

….won nicely from one of Elliott’s so he’ll know the form lines. Potentially going under the radar & still 20-1 available with 365.

          • Willie has just said Minella Cocooer is more likely to step up in trip than go against faster horses in the Ballymore.

That's good for DD Bally backers

Super. I'd be taking the 10s if it's still there... if people didn't get the 14s

I thought he'd end up a handicapper.... made me look a dweeb.

Now I've rewatched it, I think they will go for the AB. Who else does Mullins have for it - The Nice Guy and Classic Getaway?

                        • Camp Crooner here. Lost a few lengths due to scruffy jumping, if he can straighten that out a bit then has to be in with a great chance.

Cocooner giving me Flooring Porter vibes, maybe written off a bit as not G1class, but bounded out and did his thing. Danny filled him up before turing in and he won well enough. Gut is that he wont "steal" as many lengths in the Bartlett but definitely has to be respected after that.

Absolutely. Can Gordon saddle 4 of the top 5 in the betting? Seems overkill...

                            • Probably not a popular opinion, but im really doubting the Irish form being that good.
Theres no standout, all look much of a muchness to me.
Maybe one or two will step up in march, but right now i dont fancy any of them for this or the Ballymore.

Should add that i was not including Sir G or DD, as imo either of those would be a huge runner in the Bally.
