Not sure if this is the right thread, he’ll need a little pace to be putting those away, although ground is heavy.
If he's declared I'll be backing him for this race.

I don't think it will take too much winning. Cash Back wasn't much of a hurdler and Uhtred is only rated 133, and he's getting weight from the lot of them.

He is declared COD, decs out today.

Ive always had him earmarked for here to be honest. Another in the mould of JWM imo. I feel some cross doubles coming on again

          easy done mate!

He must have had issues you would think to be only coming out now?

There were plenty of races likely to suit over Xmas but didn’t get a run, unless he particularly wanted it heavy first time. Although Limerick was heavy plenty over Xmas.

Possibly, but Allaho didn't start until February then ran in the Bartlett and placed, so that wouldn't concern me a whole heap. He was very good in his p2p and bumper too, he could definitely end up challenging Journey With Me, should he end up going for this race too.

Aye very true, hopefully he is sound and remains sound. Running Thursday leaves plenty time and a couple of options to get another run before Cheltenham. Grade 2 back at Clonmel or the DRF. My money would be back to Clonmel guaranteeing the ground he seems to prefer (also same race as Allaho).

Yeah, and if they want to stick to 2m4f he could go for the G3 at Thurles end of February too. Plenty of options

                • Several of the trainers who would target this with novices will struggle to get three runs into horses, and there may be fewer novices than usual in the race. Elliott would seem to be in the best position in that regard with several options. Some planned and some less so.

Willie on the other hand only appears to have Farout and Arctic Warrior as novices that I can see to step up into handicaps, and this race may be ideal.

Joseph O'Brien will too, but I need to take a bit of time to look at his.

Is the conversation about Chemical Energy in the right place? If it is then yes. If it isn't then no. I'll let you decide. I'm just not sure how I'd respond to it otherwise if not on here.

Chemical Energy Planned for the Pipe, and Hollow Games not and more likely here.

Willie has novice hurdlers that will come here, I presume Farout and Arctic Warrior won't becasue they have the runs and a mark.

Joseph O'Brien will have Eric Bloodaxe for this, but others that could possibly come here may look more likely for the Pipe if they've got enough runs in.

Hopefully that's worded better to pass inspection for the thread!

Just didn't know who you were taking about or to !
I could only see people warbling on about classic getaway in the few posts beforehand, and it didn't start well, referring to targeting this.
It definitely didn't pass muster, that's for sure

….and for the Bally, I suppose it’s 2nd guessing the target.

                              • The highly regarded O'Toole, who made a winning hurdles debut at Down Royal, could be targeted at the final of the Connolly's Red Mills Irish EBF Auction Series at the Punchestown festival, with connections keen to prioritise his long-term future.

"He's one to look forward to, but not to overface this year," said Bromley. "Punchestown might be the only festival he appears at."
