  • Was that gears or just outstaying? The way that Kilcruit was beaten into second suggests to me outstaying and the galloping type that someone else mentioned?

Slight concern that he jumped slightly right handed but what an engine on JWM

    • Hes going to go the ballymore isnt he

      • He's an out-and-out stayer, Bartlett all day long - Henry will aim for a Minella Indo repeat.

        • Minella Crooner the one to take out of it also

I think we probably learnt JWM he has all those things in his locker. Kilcruit jumped better today too but it still wasnt enough.

            • JWM would be my favourite for this but no way I'd have him for the Ballymore. He just keeps on galloping and there's more speedy horses that would do him in the Ballymore. Minella Crooner needs 3m as well and Kilcruit just not good enough. He was cruising and just found nothing.

                • From what I've seen the owners are pretty set on the Bartlett.

                  • That was awesome! I’m covered for both races but more so here, so hoping that’s still the plan!

                    What to do with Kilcruit?

Think Grand Jury’s next entry tells you who henry & robcour could have in mind for the Ballymore. Wouldn’t be surprised if Gerri ended up in the Martin pipe to be honest from the vibes I’ve got, handicap mark permitting.

                      • On first view I think JWM will go to AB, seemed to have to a of stamina. Though as others have said, horses may be split. Backed for both, but would rather go AB I think.

Send him to Tony Mullins and make him a flat horse again

                          • I really can't see the Ballymore performance in that. How many times do we see a big galloping type win the Ballymore? The Ballymore is a race for a classy animal with a turn of pace and plenty of speed.

Let JWM chew them up in the AB

Tony said he was a Bartlett horse so might turn out to be right after all!

He also said he'd be a different horse at 2.5m!
