Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

You are correct - she's a 10 minute in the microwave without foil before applying the foil covering for around 1 hour in the oven. Anything covered in foil whilst in the microwave is definitely a recipe for becoming homeless!

    • Blazing Khal is game as they come but his jumping leaves a fair bit to be desired.

      • Might be in the minority but he doesn’t really excite me. Poor jumper, and I’ll be shocked if beating Gelino Bello a couple of times is festival winning form.

Surely some of the bigger Irish names will have too much for him?

        • Agreed Stormez. Doesn’t do it for me

            Yup

and hes gone from 16s at the start of the week to 5s for jumping very averagely and beating the same horse again (who didn't jump or travel well)

clearly was by miles the best horse today but I'm not exactly sure what the form is worth, hopefully we see him in a grade 1 next time against some better horses to get a better gauge

            • I don't like Blazing Khal for this race at all. except at odds of around 16-1+ which is fair enough.
I think the UK form line is unlikely to be good enough, and is very misleading.
He will likely go off double figures.
So his price right now is a bit daft. IMO.

              • Massive overreaction by the bookies to cut Blazing Khal. He has a nice engine but I feel his jumping is going to let him down in better races.

                • If his jumping can improve by the rate it seemingly has between the last day and today then he will be a serious player for this IMO. 5/1 might be a bit drastic but he looks a serious serious horse and barely came off the bridle to win today, judging him on the bare form of what he’s done might not be a fair assessment of him

                  • Byrnes said DRF next - so we’ll find out how the form stacks up before March

                    • While every stable deserves to have its 'stable star' I really want to see Blazing Khal up against fellow Irish horses in graded company. Probably have to wait on the DRF for that. Suspicion that he's up against not quite top dollar opposition on his two Cheltenham trips. These conditions races at Cheltenham outside of the Festival always have an average look about them.

                      • Blazing Khal did well today and is def a very nice horse, I would think when he comes up against the big boys in Ireland he won't be at that level though. Some good placement so far.
                        Time will tell though

                        • Stag Horn won over hurdles today. A high of 108 on the flat, finishing 4th in the Queen Alexandra and other good results over 2m+. Interesting recruit and hopefully see him up in class next time out.

                          • Just came on to moan about Blazing Khals price. As short as 9/2 is an absolute shocker!!!

Plenty of 4/1 around Betway, bless em, go 3/1.
With Mullins looking to step Kilcuit up in trip and Ginto, Hollow Games and Journey With Me all set to be out in the next 2/3 weeks I’m sure there’ll be multiple shake ups in this market to come…

It is, though will hopefully hold up the price of the real contenders for the next couple of weeks.
