Noteworthy that HG has shortened for this but Ginto hasn't ahead of tomorrow? :/
I'd have thought Ginto would have been the more likely to run of the 2 with him winning last time on better ground but the market currently has it with HG as fav.

Davy has chosen hollow games over ginto thats probably why

Don’t think this is a surprise as Hollow Games is the better rated horse.
Lots of blue, into 9's in place. Hopefully good performance tomorrow.
Gordon Elliott, trainer of Ginto and Hollow Games We'll see which way the ground is in the morning. Depending on the ground, we might not run the two of them, but the plan is to run them, all being well. Both horses are in very good form. Hollow Games was very good at Down Royal and I loved the way Ginto won his maiden hurdle at Navan. They're two lovely staying novices for the season.

Cheers pal. I'm not too worried about HG running tomorrow tbh
Do people think hollow games definitely comes here over the ballymore?
Its all about Gordon splitting up his novice team with all the ammunition he has.
He has said Mighty Potter is fast and looks to be his Supreme horse. He is running in the Royal Bond at the weekend apparently and so is TSL. So that will tell us more about them two and Chemical Energy who is also entered in that. Then you have Gerri Colombe who hasn't come out yet and is seen as a middle distance to stayer, so we have to see how he gets on when he comes out. So you have 4 horses these that look like they are staying over 2 and 2 1/2 miles.
Then you have Hollow Games and Ginto who Elliott said they were stayers the other day. Obviously if others don't live up to much at a shorter trip and HG looks good for speed then he could go the Ballymore, but he didn't look fast on his debut and did look like a stayer like Gordan has said.
Another pointer is that Gordon has sent both Fury Road and Death Duty to this race in recent years who have ended up in the AB and Delta Work who ended up in the Pertemps over 3m. On the other hand he did run Samcro in this who ran in the Ballymore, but he looks to have much more ammunition in the novice hurdles this year than he did that year with Samcro for the Ballymore trip.
I think he will come here as Gordon likes the race like he likes a winner of any race at the festival. I have him covered in both though just incase things develop down the line
Those last three jumps from Hollow Games were perfect. Jumped left and right when they were going no pace at all but found loads when needed and those jumps at pace were great to watch. Loved that.
Perfect run that from what was an awkwardly run race. Jumped much better when they quickened up and stayed on best, Albert bartlett written all over him
