Always seems to be PP and BetFair reducing quicker on Irish horses. I know they are owned by the same parent but inner knowledge maybe?

      Both with PP/Betfair as well.

        FORM BOOST

Gentleman De Mai wins at Ayr like a proper stayer. He was beaten in his PTP by Journey With Me by 12 lengths

Ballymore unlikely now then? Would have expected him starting over 2 or 2 1/2 if that was the target. Think my Supreme bet is vulnerable....

I don't think he'll take up the entry and Hollow Games will Lobos.

And I'd still expect Gerri Colombe to be a two and a half mile horse this season even if he does run on Friday. Gordon won't be aiming both at the race.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

Agree they both won't run. Odd entry though? They've been in work for a while now so maybe he's not been showing himself to be a speed horse.

Will owners want both (JWM) to go here?

Nope I can't see it happening. As Madmoose said a few weeks back they were looking to split them up, Grand Duty - Supreme, GC - Ballymore, JWM - AB.

It could be the other way around but it will depend how GC and JWM get on in their debuts regarding trip.

This would also fit in with GE to allow him to sent Hollow Games to the AB. Then he's got to put Three Stripe Life somewhere and many others

Possibly not. Maybe JWM is thought more of a Ballymore type now. We'll find out one way or another!

Your post just confirms the mountain of potential there is in the Novice Hurdles this year. I'd imagine trainers will have to double up in some in order to accommodate them all. Its impossible to know where they'll end up at this point. Better to back them in multiple races imo and cover all angles.

A lot of these Maidens and Novice hurdles will cut up as the main trainers won’t want to double up or have a tough race. It also means that horses can win over slightly shorter or longer than their optimal trip as the field will be mostly garbage. I’m a Gerri for the Ballymore man and I would not be too concerned if he ran over 2m 6f.

The 33/1 for Hollow Games will soon be gone so added him to my already JWM bets

I'm worried as a Ballymore backer that he's been entered over that far first time up. Am I wrong in saying Faugheen is the only Ballymore winner to have run over further than the Ballymore distance during that season? Its certainly not a plus I'd say, whether he takes up the entry or not.

I think there could be a stat but I won’t worry until he’s declared and actually runs.
