Well that would be no surprise, after that today a longer break may well be the right thing for the horse

Said 'one or the other' didn't he. I hope it's here (despite backing NRNB so it doesn't really matter) but he'd be really interesting in it.

        I was impressed with that.

Not really buying the narrative that he can't win because of the ground today. Might be no winners from today at the festival but that'll be because the majority of them are not good enough.

I'm not saying it's a bad theory by the way, it just wouldn't stop me backing a horse if I liked them visually today, which I did.

He did yes. Was good to hear him say he didn’t feel he had a hard race today. I would def take that as a positive in terms of going to Cheltenham

Beat a very good horse in I Am Maximus last time and those two were miles clear of the 3rd. Henderson rates IAM highly. The 3rd home, Get a Tonic is no slouch and gave Marie's Rock a fight last time. Decent form all round.

Think I would disagree that IAM is a very good horse, I agree Henderson has certainly talked him but but can’t agree that he has shown that on the track. OR currently 129 after his last run

It really doesn't. JWM or Ginto would almost certainly be favourites if either switched.

He looks one of the weaker favourites to me.

After watching that yesterday, Hillcrest would be my fav I think

                                Yep,

He was already only 1lb lower than Ginto on RPR's and the second best RPR rated horse in the entries.

Yesterday over the trip, did his chances no harm at all.

His speed rating, even on bad ground was the best of the season, by any staying novice hurdler, by an absolute mile,

In fact, at 134 only Constitution Hill has equaled it all season in novice hurdles in GB/IRE.

The rest are 6lb and much further behind it, and in the Bartlett the nearest is 11lb behind it, the 2nd nearest 18lb behind it.

If he runs he probably goes off fav, unless some monster Irish gamble comes for one.
