      • Does anybody have a strong view as to what Willies will be for this if it’s not Whatdeawant?

Ramillies is the main one that springs to mind. I have whatdeawant pegged as a ballymore horse based off ownership.

Is the ownership thing a big factor do you think?

I know they ran City Island, but that did look the right race for him.... then they had Longhouse Poet.... who also ran in the Ballymore, arguably still the right race?

The chances of owning a horse and having it be good enough to win your own sponsered race must be so small, then again, does happen doesn't it! I was thinking just the Ryanair but actually there are a few examples of horses being bought with a specific race in mind (although can't name any)

…..Mullins specifically name checks Ballymore in his stable tour because of the ownership.

Its not a big thing in my book, but he didn't look like he would be out of place in a Ballymore based on his win in Navan, nice turn of foot over last 2 furlongs to nab the leaders. Then throw the ownership into the equation, it just weighs in favour of the Ballymore for now I think

I think it will be one of the CPS horses and if I had to guess which one I would go Classic Getaway who has entry in the Lawlor's of Naas on 2/1/22.

                    • Ramillies @ 33/1 looks a good bet IMO. He is by Shantou and will simply be a stayer, doesn't have much speed. Fairly confident he'll end up here

Classic Getaway I would think , thought of as a big staying chasing type and he has a bit of class. Willie should have enough in Ballymore so he'd be the one I'd assume would go here

                        • There’s a horse running 1305 Doncaster called wiseguy. He beat Hillcrest in his bumper who has won his three races since. On his debut he was beaten into 3rd by the horse that just won the first at Cheltenham. What is eye catching is that Henderson has stepped him up from 2m 2 to three miles today which is not something he does very often. It’s owned by Magnier and perhaps this could be his AB horse?. It’s not a race the trainer has any history in and he is not in any markets but just an FYI really

Hahaha - we've not been food shopping since the conversation yet. Going this weekend so by the end of next week I will be able to confirm (or disprove) the efficacy of Spectres 'Love Spuds'. Are they the real deal or just another fad? Watch this space to find out...

Odin I'm similarly late to this discussion, but always thought that foil in a microwave was a combination that wouldn't end well?
