It'd need to be heavy in March and the race looking weaker for them to even consider it I reckon.
Gordon might not want to run at Limerick over 3 again at xmas, after what happened with farouk last year.
and the lawlors is perfectly placed if you don't want to run in dublin and go straight to cheltenham.
Yes, he does nothing fast, and gets better as the race gets longer.
Those Grade 3 (or less) quality horses surrounded him coming in the straight, and he definitely didn’t quicken away from them on the snaff, he gradually lengthened clear over most of the last 2 furlongs.
I imagine he would look a quality stayer when surrounded by Mullins horses in the Naas Grade 1, whether he won it or not.
It would have to be Willie Wumpkins weather to consider him a better bet in the Ballymore than the Bartlett.
Anyone making a book would have him in both (particularly as we haven’t seen anything from WPM yet) and anyone who doesn’t want to have a full book on races, will probably have picked the Bartlett.
Requested a price for Life in the Park for this race last night:
B365 & Sly 33s
PP were 66s if you did the dial a bet.
The horse fell when clear at the last in his p2p (albeit plenty of casualties in the race) and the eventual winner of that race then bolted up in a bumper for Gordon. Owner had success in this race with Minella Indo and is against a promising horse today in Hunters Yarn.

I am very interested in him. However do you think this is the trip for him? Based on breeding I would think shorter would be better. All of his Dams children have run at 2 1/2 or less and his Damn also never raced beyond 2.1m. Walk in the Palk also is more known for his faster horses i.e Douvan and Min. He did win a P2P but so did Shishkin etc and it was on good round.
I might be inclined to back him in the Ballymore over this with HDB also having JWM for the Albert Bartlett

Not going to lie WTL, I'm not clued up into the breeding side of things but would it not be unusual for a horse to start out over 2m5 1/2 and then come back in trip :/ ? Although the ground is good to yielding so maybe won't matter as much. Possibly just a watching brief

Todays trip is pretty much the same as the Ballymore (2m5) so only 1/2 a furlong off on good ground so its not much difference. The best thing to do maybe is back him in both with 365 at 40/1 and 33/1 then evaluate the situation after the race. You can then cash one out (or possibly both if he doesn't win)

Yeah, I agree.
He looked quick enough and would have posted a decent time had he not fallen in his p2p.
